The class of 2021 in Washington has so much depth and widespread talent that multiple players have been unintentionally left off our list, but that has changed for a handful of players as of today.
Newly Ranked 2021 Prospects:
2021 6’2 CG Grant McClure Grant McClure 6'2" | CG Liberty Christian | 2021 State WA (Liberty Christian HS) – I got my first chance to see what McClure brings to the table and he was a pretty fun player to watch. A skilled guard than can play on or off the ball, but he is a really good scorer and has a lot of tools in his shed to get his own shot off. A three level scorer that will most definitely be able to help a college program at the right level.
2021 6’7 SF Jackson Dorsey Jackson Dorsey 6'7" | PF Wilson | 2021 State WA (Wilson HS) – A prospect that slipped through the cracks on our part, but he has all the length, agility and potential as a wing-forward to be a good college player. His best basketball is ahead of him as he continues to expand his all around skill set and get stronger. A high energy wing that can excel as a slasher on offense and versatile defender on defense.
2021 6’2 CG Jaden DeBoer Jaden DeBoer 6'1" | CG Lynden Christian | 2021 UT (Lynden Christian HS) – A lefty combo guard that has serious game, coming from a winning program in Lynden Christian. DeBoer is the son of long-time Lynden Christian Head Coach, Roger DeBoer. The senior guard is smooth, can handle it and score it with efficiency as a skilled ball player. A guy that could have potentially blown up some had he gotten a full Spring and Summer to play with his club team, FOH Seattle.
2021 6’4 SF Carter McCoy Carter McCoy 6'5" | SF WF West | 2021 State WA (WF West HS) – A diamond in the rough out of Chehalis, Washington. McCoy has solid size from the wing position and utilizes clean footwork to make plays in the paint. Also an unassuming and quick, explosive leaper that finishes above and around the rim regularly. Solid defender that should be able to help a college program on both sides of the ball with his size, motor and athleticism.
2021 6’1 CG Jaylon Ellis Jaylon Ellis 6'1" | CG O'Dea | 2021 State WA (O’Dea HS) – Smooth guard that can play on or off the ball comfortably. Ellis stands around 6’1, but plays with good energy and he has a solid feel for the game. Coming up in the O’Dea and Seattle Rotary programs, Ellis is used to competing at a high level. A potential steal for a program.
