Predictions
High Point Academy – The Grizzlies have some new faces this season. The Grizzlies in its 5th year of a program have a brand new gym on campus to open up this season. The Grizzlies will be the favorite to take home the Region Championship this season.
Southside Christian – The Sabres will be led by the big man in the middle Ian Thomson Ian Thomson 6'10" | PF Southside Christian | 2021 State SC . Thomson will be the Prep Hoops Region Player of the Year this season.
McCormick HS – The Chiefs will rely on several multiple sport athletes. The Chiefs finished last season at (17-9)
Calhoun Falls Charter – The Blue Flashes lost in the playoffs last season to Timmonsville and possibly have the smallest school enrollement in the Palmetto State with under 100 students.

Players in the Region to Watch:
Alijah Means Alijah Means 6'4" | SF High Point Academy | 2021 State SC (2021) – High Point Academy
Means came in at the midway point last season from Chesnee HS. Means a athletic wing will look to lead Head Coach Marcus Watts team this season with the graduation of some key members.
Ali Khan Ali Khan 6'2" | SG HighPoint Academy | 2023 State SC (2023) – High Point Academy
Khan is a new face at High Point Academy this year after transferring in from Dorman HS. Khan a sharp shooting guard has a good shot release and can really knockdown it down from long distance.
Elijah Choice Elijah Choice 6'2" | CG High Point Academy | 2023 NC (2023) – High Point Academy
Choice is back for his 2nd season with the Grizzlies. Choice a left-handed guard will be counted on more this season for production.
Ian Thomson Ian Thomson 6'10" | PF Southside Christian | 2021 State SC (2021) – Southside Christian (pictured on the front)
Thomson 6’10 is back to patrol the middle for the Sabres this season. Thomson recently made some college visits this fall. Thomson played with Upward Stars Upstate Bailey this summer on the Grassroots Circuit.
Darius Sibert (2021) – McCormick HS
Sibert a athletic guard helped the Chiefs to a (17-9) season last year under Head Coach Rico Salliewhite. Sibert will be counted on to provide senior leadership for this squad this season.
A'chean Durant (2023) – McCormick HS
Durant recently was a offered a football scholarship by Duke University same place his older brother plays at. Durant is a one man wrecking crew in the backfield for the Chiefs on the football field.
Suderian Harrison Suderian Harrison 5'11" | SG Woodland | 2023 SC (2023) – McCormick HS
Harrison plays Quarterback for the Chiefs on Friday nights. Harrison and Durant are a great 1-2 tandem for the next few years for the Chiefs on the hardwood and football field.
Max Peeler Max Peeler 5'11" | SG Dixie | 2022 State SC (2022) – Dixie HS (Due West)
Peeler is a sharp-shooting guard with good range on his shot. Peeler ran with Upward Stars Upstate this past summer on the Grassroots Circuit.
Peyton Crumpton (2021) – Whitmire HS
Crumpton averaged 13.4 ppg last season.
Nate Stanley (2021) – Whitmire HS
Stanley averaged 12.1 ppg last season.
Camden Durant Camden Durant 6'3" | PF McCormick | 2024 State SC (2024) – Calhoun Falls Charter
Durant is a crucial piece for the young Blue Flashes in the years to come.
Daquean Lewis Daquean Lewis 6'3" | SF Calhoun Falls Charter | 2024 State SC (2024) – Calhoun Falls Charter
Lewis plays 3 sports for the Blue Flashes including baseball and football.
