Saturday I made the trip to Erlanger to watch the early part of the Camp One high school preview where 2023 and 2024 prospects went through drill work and played several games over the course of 6 hours. Here’s a look at some of the top Sophomores at the event.

Bradin NelsonBradinNelson6'1" | PGWebster County | 2023StateKY, Webster County - Nelson was one of the best overall players at camp. He scored the ball all over the floor, every game. On defense he proved to be an excellent team defender who was constantly talking and helping teammates to adjust coverage. He’s got some work to do as an on ball defender but Bradin should be a top Sophomore in Western Kentucky this season.

Cyr MalongaCyrMalonga6'10" | CEvangel Christian | 2023StateKY, Evangel Christian - Well on his way to being the most offered player in the history of Kentucky basketball, Cyr had a solid day at the camp on Saturday. His defense and rebounding are ahead of his offense right now but he shows flashes of the offensive player that he can be. Malonga is among the biggest players in the state and should have a major impact for Evangel this season.
