Kentrell Wallace Kentrell Wallace 6'1" | SG Las Vegas | 2021 State NV 6’1 SG Las Vegas 2021 (#23PHN 2021) – Wallace was good this week. He has scoring ability especially when put in iso situations, and out in transition. His release is a bit funky, however, he showed the ability to consistently knock down both 3’s and mid-range jumpers.
Lowell Francis Chan Lowell Francis Chan 6'6" | SF Sierra Vista | 2021 State NV 6’6 SF Sierra Vista 2021 (#56PHN 2021) – I still think Chan has a ton of value. He displayed a nice mid-range game, using his size and 1 dribble pull up ability to create for himself.
Cimarron Conriquez Cimarron Conriquez 6'1" | SG Desert Pines | 2021 State NV 6’0 SG Desert Pines 2021 (#40PHN 2021) – Conriquez has always been one of the top shooters in the state. What he displayed this weekend was his ability to impact the game in other ways as well. He came down to help rebound, grabbed a ton of 50/50 balls, and even showed the ability to score when driving to the bucket. With shooting being such a premium in this day and age, Conriquez is a prospect that definitely is worth a look.
Jaylen Berry Jaylen Berry 6'2" | PG Basic | 2021 State NV 6’2 PG Basic 2021 (#20PHN 2021) (featured image) – Berry’s stock has seen a huge increase in the last year. 12 months ago he was an unranked player that had only participated in games at the JV level. Today he is one of the hottest prospects in the state, gaining attention from several small schools and Juco’s. I was really impressed by his handle and shiftiness last week as he proved that he’s capable of getting anywhere he wants on the floor.
Jyaire McGee Jyaire McGee 6'6" | PF Spring Valley | 2021 State NV 6’6 PF Spring Valley 2021 – McGee did his best work on the glass. The physical big grabbed both in and out of area rebounds. He also showed nimble feet and surprisingly quick hands, getting several steals and deflections against perimeter players. With his size, strength, and defensive versatility, he easily belongs on college coaches’ radars.
Dominick Blair Dominick Blair 6'4" | PF Spring Valley | 2021 State NV 6’4 SF Spring Valley 2021 (#79PHN 2021) – Blair was kind of a positionless stud this weekend. He used his length to play the middle and bottom of SV’s zone, and on the offensive end, he showed the ability to step out and knock down 3’s in catch and shoot situations, culminating with a 20 point effort against Las Vegas.
