It’s never too early for too-early-season. With fall sports and school underway, it’s only a matter of time before the winter sports season is upon us. 

With that in mind, here’s a look at some of the top guards from the big schools in Section 4

Holloman, for my money, is the best player in Minnesota’s 2022 class. The 6-foot-2 point guard is a positive driving force on both ends of the floor and has a knack for giving his team exactly what it needs, exactly when it needs it. He’s excellent on the defensive end of the floor, bringing great energy to the point of attack. He is one of the best pure passers in the state and gets to the rim as well as anybody. And his ability to control the tempo allows him to influence the game at a high level. 

Kendall BlueKendallBlue6'5" | SGEast Ridge | 2022State#160NationMN, East Ridge

Blue was the No. 2 guy at East Ridge last year and showed why he’s one of the best prospects in the 2022 class. He’ll be the man for the Raptors this winter, and at 6-foot-6,
