Riley DeWit Riley DeWit 6'6" | PF Bonanza | 2021 State NV 6’6 PF Bonanza 2021 (#84PHN 2021) – DeWit had a good showing on Sunday. He was able to stretch the floor out to about 18, and he finished around the basket using his strong hand. While perhaps not the most explosive athlete, he did have a nice two hand dunk in a halfcourt set.
Tavionte Jackson Tavionte Jackson 6'1" | PG Las Vegas | 2022 NV 6’1 PG Las Vegas 2022 (#4PHN 2022) – Jackson is one of the most confident players I’ve ever seen. I’ve been watching him nonstop for almost a year and I have yet to see the game where he’s been outplayed. He just looks like he’s in complete control when the ball is in his hands, and he’s usually right. Got to the rim whenever he wanted, knocked down 3’s when opponents laid off and finished with both hands in transition. Jackson has gone from a sleeper, to a true stockriser in a short time.
Anthony Pittman Anthony Pittman 6'0" | PG Bishop Gorman | 2022 State NV 6’0 PG Bishop Gorman 2022 (#50PHN 2022) (featured image) – Pittman was really good. While he has combo skills, his ability to blow by opponents, draw and dish and stay in front of other PG’s, qualify him as a pure point. He’s one of the top on ball defenders in the state, and the effort and energy he brings to the defensive end makes him an intriguing sleeper prospect.
Dylyn Cooks 5’11 CG Arbor View 2023 – This was my first look at Cooks and I was impressed. The 5’10 PG was lighting quick, showing the ability to get to the hole at ease. Everything about Cooks screams quickness, including his hands, his COD and his blow by ability. Good looking young prospect that really impressed.
Damion Byrd Damion Byrd 5'10" | PG Silverado | 2022 State NV 5’11 PG Silverado 2022 (#12PHN 2022) – Byrd was one of the top on ball defenders at the camp. Did a good job of raking the ball away from ballhandlers when he was on the ball and when providing help side D. Offensively he showed good vision and the ability to throw teammates open. Byrd displayed good blow by ability, getting to the rim for several finishes.
Lawrence Murray Lawrence Murray 6'5" | PF Green Valley | 2022 NV 6’5 PF Green Valley 2022 – It wasn’t necessarily pretty, but it was effective. The big bodied lefty showed a nice touch around the rim, and the ability to finish with his strong hand. Most of what Murray did took place down low, but he was effective using his hands and body to catch and finish around the basket.
