The PrepHoops Top 250 Expo took place in Gilbert, Arizona this weekend. The event featured over 100 prospects all looking for an opportunity to make a name for themselves. In this article, PH takes a look at the top local standouts from the event.

Isaiah Hicks 5’10 PG San Marcos 2021 - Hicks displayed a terrific floor game. The PG was able to get into the lane and finish around the rim. When he got stopped from getting all the way to the hole, he displayed the lost art of the mid-range. Solid handle and good vision, like many of the Team Build-up players, he displayed grit and toughness throughout the day.

Malachi MurrellMalachiMurrell6'2" | SFShadow Hills | 2022State 6’2 SF La Quinta 2022 (#112PHSC 2022) - Murrell was an explosive athlete that was able to get to the rim and finish. He’s a positionless player that impacts the game in a variety of ways. On Sunday the 6’2 wing was at his best when slashing to the basket, and playing downhill in transition.

Damian RuizDamianRuiz6'2" | SGMurrieta Valley | 2022State 6’2 SG Murieta Valley 2022 (#74PHSC 2022) - If Ruiz is in the building, then he’s in range. He’s been working more on his floor
