The Arizona Fall Shootout took place last weekend at Williamsfield High School in Gilbert. Hosted by recruiting legend Gerry Freitas, the event featured teams from Washington, California, Arizona and Idaho. It also featured several guys willing to sacrifice their bodies for the good of the team. In this article PH takes a look at the top high motor athletes from the event.

Lukas Broadsword 6’6 SF Idaho Premier 2021 (#18PHI 2021) - Did everything you could possible do on the defensive end to impact a game. Broadsword guarded perimeter players, post players, and everything in between. He grabbed defensive rebounds and was first to the floor for nearly every loose ball.

Darric Blockman 5’8 PG 509 Elite 2021 - Blockman is a tough kid that is willing to stick his nose in. He dove on the floor, took charges and battled against larger guards looking for post up opportunities. Heady floor general, Blockman was one of the toughest players pound for pound on the court.

Martin GumwelMartinGumwel6'10" | CCalvin Christian | 2023 6’11 C Gamepoint Elite 2023 (featured image) - The young big man plays with an effort and energy that’s pleasing to watch. He probably still has floor burns from his head
