Announcement: 2021 Rankings Update
Over the last three weeks, we have rolled out the very first 2024 Watch List, the second version of the 2023 Rankings and the most recent 2022 Rankings.
On Monday, the newest edition of the 2021 Rankings were published here in the state of Florida.
There are now 620 players ranked in the 2022 class which is 125 more than the previous update down after the season back in April.

2021 Rankings
Here is a peek at the newest Top 10 and how each player projects for this upcoming high school season.

Here is the final four for Caleb Houstan Caleb Houstan 6'8" | SF Montverde Academy | 2021 State #6 Nation FL : Alabama, Duke, Michigan and Virginia. The Montverde wing from Canada reclassified up from the 2022 class and is one of the best overall athletes in the entire 2021 class. Houstan is a dangerous shooter, smooth attacker and a steady defensive presence. He is a surefire one and done prospect who is close to pro-ready right now.
No. 2 – Moussa Diabate Moussa Diabate 6'10" | PF IMG Academy | 2021 State #22 Nation FL Ι 6-10 Ι IMG Academy
The French native is one of the most dangerous shot blockers in the entire country. His energy and vocalness are contagious. He gets everything going for IMG and fits the culture with his hustle plays, attacking and locked-in defense. Kentucky offered just over a month ago while the likes of Oregon, Arizona, Maryland, FSU, Auburn, Pittsburgh, Miami, Virginia Tech and others offered prior. Diabate is one of the best lengthy athletes you’ll watch anywhere.
No. 3 – Josh Minott Josh Minott 6'9" | PF St. Andrew's | 2021 State #30 Nation FL Ι 6-9 Ι St. Andrew’s
It was a fast rise for Josh Minott Josh Minott 6'9" | PF St. Andrew's | 2021 State #30 Nation FL who is a long forward with good ballhandling skills, strong defense and a good finish. He became a clear Division I player quickly. Committing to Memphis in August, the St. Andrew’s wing is well on his way and had his pick of the litter with Texas, Baylor, FSU, Maryland and Oklahoma as some of his other top options. The sky is the limit for Minott, who is packed with burst, shot-blocking ability and impressive IQ.

The Texas native is headed back to his home state to suit up at Baylor. Holding offers from the likes of Stanford, Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma State, Kansas and Villanova, Langston Love Langston Love 6'4" | SG Montverde Academy | 2021 State #31 Nation FL is one of the best guards you’ll find anywhere. The Montverde guard has a smooth jumper, endless strength and the toughness to put his head down and score inside. Love is a mature presence on and off the floor and a true student of the game.
No. 5 – Alex Fudge Alex Fudge 6'8" | SF Lee | 2021 State #40 Nation FL Ι 6-8 Ι Lee
Headed to LSU this January as an early enrollee, Alex Fudge Alex Fudge 6'8" | SF Lee | 2021 State #40 Nation FL will be an instant impact player at the next level. The Lee forward makes everyone better around him as his seasoned ballhandling skills, transition push, shot blocking prowess and finish are all key assets. Fudge is always having fun on the court and is locked in at the same time which is a joy to see. UF, Alabama, Texas, Georgia Tech, USC, UCF, Miami and others offered and tried to lure him. Fudge will do wonders for Lee this season before he heads off to LSU.
No. 6 – DaRon Holmes II DaRon Holmes II 6'8" | PF Montverde Academy | 2021 State #44 Nation FL Ι 6-8 Ι Montverde Academy
It is down to Arizona, California, Dayton and Marquette for the Arizona native. Daron Holmes II transferred to Montverde earlier this spring and is a versatile prospect to like. He can back down defenders and attack the rim, hit jumpers with his own moves and block shots with his size defensively. Holmes II is getting stronger and that bodes well for his bright future.
No. 7 – Deebo Coleman Deebo Coleman 6'6" | SG West Nassau | 2021 State #49 Nation FL Ι 6-6 Ι West Nassau
Texas Tech, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss are the Top 3 for West Nassau guard Deebo Coleman Deebo Coleman 6'6" | SG West Nassau | 2021 State #49 Nation FL . One of the most gifted scorers in the 2021 class, he has long arms which help him rain in shots, get to the rim on his own and off of cuts and play a key role on defense turning shot attempts away. Coleman commands endless attention from opposing teams and is very hard to gameplan for. Coleman is dangerous.
No. 8 – Ernest Ross Ernest Ross 6'9" | PF Santa Fe | 2021 State #57 Nation FL Ι 6-9 Ι Santa Fe
Here is a big who can play both the four and five spot in college and flourish. Ernest Ross Ernest Ross 6'9" | PF Santa Fe | 2021 State #57 Nation FL chose NC State and he should fit right in as he continues to add muscle to his frame. He had offers from the likes of Xavier, UF, Virginia Tech, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M. Ross has a nice mix of size, speed and overall athleticness. Look for him to be a steady college contributor.
No. 9 – Tamar Bates Tamar Bates 6'4" | PG IMG Academy | 2021 State FL Ι 6-4 Ι IMG Academy
Headed to Texas next year, the Kansas native will finish up his high school career at IMG. He is a standout point guard who plays with a chip on his shoulder and flourishes a true vocal leader on both ends of the floor. Oregon, Kansas, Alabama, Kansas State, Oklahoma and Virginia Tech represented some of his other top offers. Bates is an instant impact player at Texas.
No. 10 – Ramses Melendez Ramses Melendez 6'7" | SF Central Pointe Christian | 2021 State #108 Nation FL Ι 6-7 Ι Central Pointe Christian
Perhaps the most impressive jump made over this last year and a half has been from Central Pointe Christian guard Ramses Melendez Ramses Melendez 6'7" | SF Central Pointe Christian | 2021 State #108 Nation FL . The Puerto Rican native continues to grow in height and is a very solid athlete who can get up and down the floor and hit an outside shot with ease. Melendez is always playing with energy and purpose. Georgia, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Dayton, DePaul, Ole Miss, LSU, Nebraska, VCU, USF, UMass, St. John’s, UF, Oklahoma State, Rhode Island and FAU represent his extensive offer list.
