Many dropped with 31 brand new players moving in, but here were some of the players who saw their stock rise this season.
These players either grew in height, became more athletic or polished up their skills:
Bryce Ford Bryce Ford 6'2" | CG Pinnacle | 2023 State AZ (Pinnacle) (From 75 to 23) +52
-One of the top shooters in the state. The lefty is a true sniper. He rattles off shot after shot and has an ultimate quick release.
KJ Perry KJ Perry 6'2" | SG Hillcrest Prep | 2024 CA-S (Gilbert) (From 37 to 14) +23
-An athletic stud seems to fly in the open court. He glides in the air with impressive body control. He keeps improving as a perimeter shooter and is a top on-ball defender.
Ashton Reese Ashton Reese 6'5" | SG Pinnacle | 2023 State AZ (AZ Compass Prep) (From 49 to 30) +19
-A taller wing shooter is making strides. He is good from mid to the 3pt line. If he keeps growing he seems fairly similar to former Pinnacle stud Jordan Mains.
Leonard Romayor Leonard Romayor 5'10" | PG Ironwood | 2023 State AZ (Brophy Prep) (From 71 to 53) +18
-He grew four inches and his skill keeps improving. He pull-up is crisp and getting more consistent from the 3. He is slowly improving to finding that happy medium from scorer to facilitator.
Zach Anderson Zach Anderson 6'3" | SG Desert Mountain | 2023 State AZ (Desert Mountain) (Pictured) (From 43 to 31) +12
-A little taller guard has range on his jumper and is getting a little more athletic. He can play some on or off the ball and he has one of those shots that look good every time.
Ben Egbo Ben Egbo 6'4" | SF Perry | 2023 State AZ (Perry) (From 28 to 19) +9
-A long athlete takes some of the longest strides in the state. He gets to the cup in very few steps. He is a versatile defender in space and inside. Once his J improves, he may move up even more.
