Prep Hoops Texas has recently updated the class of 2023 Texas player rankings. There were several newcomers that made their way onto the list from all over Texas, but here we breakdown the newcomers to the rankings list from the Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin area.

For such a young player, Johnson has a mature style of play, terrific fundamentals, good poise, and stays under control, he never seems rattled whatsoever. He’s a knockdown spot-up and catch-and-shoot player from all around the arc; his form is technically sound with a proper release. Sammon can beat his man off the dribble when least expected, he displays tight handles, crisp combo moves, and the ability to cross his man over, then finish at the hoop or with his nice pull-up jump shot.
