Jamari Briggs Jamari Briggs 6'6" | CG Christ | 2024 State NC (pictured on the front)
Briggs has really started to fill out his frame compared to last year. Briggs played good minutes at the high school level for a freshman. Briggs uses his body very well slashing to the basket. Briggs was able to finish on contact going to the cup. Briggs picked up a offer from Xavier University back in the spring.
Merel Burgess Merel Burgess 6'5" | PF Wilson | 2023 State SC
Burgess a left-handed post player can play inside-out on the floor. Burgess has a soft touch around the basket along with good footwork. Burgess was able to hit some 17-19 footers today from the perimeter. Burgess works well from side to side on the floor. Prep Hoops didn’t see Burgess at all this summer on the Grassroots Circuit.
Prince Johnson Prince Johnson 6'7" | PF Pebblebrook | 2023 State GA
Johnson is a new name to keep a eye on this coming season in the Pee Dee. Prep Hoops recently saw Johnson play at the Top 250 Expo in Myrtle Beach. Johnson moves well around the floor and feels comfortable defending multiple positions. Johnson moves well in the paint and was able to finish. Johnson connected on a few short corner jumpers today.
Damon Howey Damon Howey 6'0" | CG Camden | 2024 State SC
Howey (2024) should see some quality minutes this season for his high school program. Howey plays the game very aggressive for his age and was able to connect on some perimeter jumpers. Howey seemed very confident on the court for his age today. Howey was able to create his own shot at times today and find the open man in transition.
