Christen Battle Christen Battle 5'10" | PG Wilson Prep | 2022 State NC | 6’1 Guard | Wilson Prep
Battle will be a new name in the Wilson Prep rotation set to run the show at the point guard position, something that was a huge need in 2019-20 for this squad. He’s relatively unknown right now but given his ability to make his presence felt on both ends, it won’t be long for him with Nasiar Blackston Nasiar Blackston 6'4" | CG Wilson Prep | 2021 State NC and Eric Wynn Eric Wynn 6'9" | C Wilson Prep | 2021 State NC in the rotation to distribute to.
Mayar Wol Mayar Wol 6'8" | SF Word of God | 2023 State #157 Nation NC | 6’8 Forward | Fuquay-Varina
Wol came on late in the 2019-20 season as a major threat on both ends given his size and versatility at 6-foot-8. As his confidence has grown, so has his game, getting out on the break and finishing with authority at the rim while still showing off his ability to shoot the ball. He’ll be a sleeper in at Fuquay-Varina in 2020-21.
Amare Miller Amare Miller 6'7" | C The Burlington School | 2022 State NC | 6’6 Forward | Greensboro Day
Miller was a pivotal piece in Piedmont Classical’s rotation in 2019-20, averaging 11.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg and 1.2 bpg as a starter in the frontcourt. Look for his game to grow even more as a threat on all three levels. He’s mobile enough to operate on the perimeter and is an effective defender around the rim.
