On Tuesday, the newest edition of the 2022 Rankings were published here in the state of Florida.
There are now 428 players ranked in the 2022 class which is 89 more than the previous update down after the season back in April.

Here is a look at some of the biggest stock risers from the 2022 class here in the Sunshine State.
Taylor Hendricks Taylor Hendricks 6'9" | PF Calvary Christian (FL) | 2022 State #124 Nation FL & Tyler Hendricks Tyler Hendricks 6'5" | PG Ft. Lauderdale Calvary Christian | 2022 State FL Ι Ft. Lauderdale Calvary Christian
The Hendricks brothers made the move from NSU University School to Ft. Lauderdale Calvary Christian this summer. Taylor Hendricks Taylor Hendricks 6'9" | PF Calvary Christian (FL) | 2022 State #124 Nation FL is a 6-8 big who played a key role as a freshman and only improved further with heavy minutes last season at his previous school. He holds offers from Virginia Tech, UF, LSU, Iona, Iowa State, FSU, Miami, Wake Forest and USF. A lengthy forward, Hendricks is a versatile player who can attack, shoot and handle the rock. Defensively, he is as poised as they come. His brother, Tyler Hendricks Tyler Hendricks 6'5" | PG Ft. Lauderdale Calvary Christian | 2022 State FL is a 6-4 guard who has matured quickly. He is fun to watch leading an offense, hitting 3’s and playing with confidence. The Hendricks brothers will be major assets for Calvary Christian.
Ernest Udeh Ernest Udeh 6'10" | C Dr. Phillips | 2022 State #48 Nation FL Ι 6-10 Ι Dr. Phillips
This is a special big residing in Orlando. Ernest Udeh Ernest Udeh 6'10" | C Dr. Phillips | 2022 State #48 Nation FL is a standout defensively as a core rebounder and shot blocker. He makes plays over and over on that side of the ball. He has added muscle and filled out his long frame since last season and offensively, he’s becoming more aggressive. He can handle the ball and push the tempo and that bodes well for his upside. UF offered late last month while FAU, Stetson and USF offered prior. Udeh is a prime breakout candidate at Dr. Phillips.
CJ Hawkins CJ Hawkins 6'7" | SF Berkeley Prep | 2022 State FL Ι 6-7 Ι Berkeley Prep
A long athletic wing, CJ Hawkins CJ Hawkins 6'7" | SF Berkeley Prep | 2022 State FL really has come along nicely over the last year and a half. He’s always been bigger and stronger than most players in his class, but he has developed his ballhandling, jumper and court awareness. His recruitment has picked up after a standout summer with Judah Nation as IUPUI and Western Michigan both officially extended offers. Hawkins is someone who takes the game seriously and always gives you his full effort play in and play out.
Moise Balungu Moise Balungu 6'4" | SF Bishop Snyder | 2022 State FL Ι 6-6 Ι Bishop Snyder
One of the burstiest wings you’ll see, Moise Balungu Moise Balungu 6'4" | SF Bishop Snyder | 2022 State FL was a consistent threat for Ridgeview as a sophomore, averaging 19.3 PPG and 10.2 RPG, scoring in double digits in all but one game. He had 11 games with 20 plus points including multiple 31-point performances and 19 double doubles. Since transferring to Bishop Snyder, Balungu is in a good spot to flourish around a very talented group of juniors. Look for him to garner much more attention from college programs shortly.
Romelu Delgado-Gonzal Romelu Delgado-Gonzal 6'3" | CG Coral Gables | 2022 State FL Ι 6-3 Ι Coral Gables
A high-level scorer, Romelu Delago-Gonzal continues to shine. For Coral Gables, he was a consistent double-digit scorer as a sophomore and is someone who displays a ton of assertiveness as a lead guard and shooter. He is deserving of much more attention from the next level since he is a true two-way player with a ton of energy and pure scoring ability. College programs need to start getting on him before it is too late.
Denzel Aberdeen Denzel Aberdeen 6'4" | PG Dr. Phillips | 2022 State #197 Nation FL Ι 6-4 Ι Dr. Phillips
Denzel Aberdeen Denzel Aberdeen 6'4" | PG Dr. Phillips | 2022 State #197 Nation FL is one of the top sharpshooters in the 2022 class in the state. He can turn games around in the blink of an eye and did just that for Dr. Phillips as a sophomore. He’s grown to 6-4 and has become more of an inside slasher which is boosting his value. His mix of speed and shooting is really impressive. Aberdeen holds an offer from USF and is going to be steady once again for Dr. Phillips this season.
Dominic Gooden Dominic Gooden 6'0" | CG PHS Academy | 2022 State FL Ι 6-0 Ι Sickles
The jump that has made from Dominic Gooden Dominic Gooden 6'0" | CG PHS Academy | 2022 State FL has been quite clear. Sickles needs a lead guard and he will step right into that role on a team full of speedy and athletic guards. Gooden has a seasoned jumper, special handles and a mix of speed and strength that helps him outwork defenses. He is a leader by example, never complains and plays through pain and adversity. Sickles has one of the top guards in the Tampa Bay area in Gooden. Colleges are going to enjoy watching him.
Alex Perry Alex Perry 6'6" | CG Port Charlotte | 2022 State FL Ι 6-6 Ι Port Charlotte
A versatile athlete, Alex Perry Alex Perry 6'6" | CG Port Charlotte | 2022 State FL played up with the Florida Bayhawks a lot this summer in the 17U age group. He held his own and showed promise with his fluid length and finishing ability as a dunker, lay-up artist and strong attacker. A dual-sport athlete who also plays wide receiver for the Port Charlotte football team, Perry is becoming more physical which bodes well for his future. He currently holds an offer from Bethune Cookman and I expect more to come in due time.
Kamdyn Ayers Kamdyn Ayers 6'0" | CG Western | 2022 State FL Ι 6-0 Ι Western
Perhaps the most underrated players on this list and in the entire rankings is Kamdyn Ayers Kamdyn Ayers 6'0" | CG Western | 2022 State FL . He makes things look effortless as a lead point man. The 6-0 guard had a breakout year at Western down south as a sophomore and with more added muscle, he’ll only be better this fall. Ayers sees the floor well, dishes out high IQ passes and can finish in a variety of ways with floaters and lay-ins. He is a point guard to monitor closely in his junior campaign.
