Allen Strothers Allen Strothers 6'2" | PG Menchville | 2021 State VA – 6’1 Guard – Boo Williams
Strothers didn’t show many signs of rust as he produced 14.5 ppg and showed off his ability to score on all three levels, attack the rim and defend with purpose. He was one of a few names that stood out for Boo Williams. He’s a prospect due for a big senior season with offers from a number of mid-major programs.
Daylan Askew Daylan Askew 6'4" | SG Hertford County | 2021 State NC – 6’4 Guard/Wing – GBBA Next Up Select
Askew is a familiar name off the grassroots scene and he didn’t disappoint appearing with his Hertford County counterparts with GBBA Next Up Select. He finished fifth in ppg (19.5) and made four 3-pointers across two games. He earned an offer from Bryant & Stratton following the event.
Jacob Cooper Jacob Cooper 5'9" | PG Green Run | 2021 State VA – 5’10 Point Guard – Big Shots Select Green Run
Cooper, the return 5A State Player of the Year, picked up where he left off appearing with his Green Run counterparts, posting 21.5 ppg and showed off his ability to get to the free throw line. He finished with 15 made free throws to lead the 17U division. He’s an under the radar point guard to keep eyes on in Virginia’s 2021 class.
Elijah Kennedy – 6’4 Guard/Wing – Big Shots Select Green Run
LKennedy is a versatile prospect at 6-foot-4 with nice length and athleticism to go along with his ability to get to the rim. He’s a lefty that showed he’ll be a strong piece in the backcourt alongside Jordan Cooper. Millersville, NJIT, Southern Wesleyan and Mount Olive have offered him.
Travon Gray – 6’5 Wing/Forward – Virginia Venom Sawyers
Gray is another name that’s familiar from the grassroots stage that continues to excel with Virginia Venom. He put up 16.5 ppg and knocked down two 3-pointers as the Venom went 1-1 on the weekend. He’s a wiry forward prospect at Peninsula Catholic due for a big boost in his recruitment in 2020-21.
