Although AAU was different this year, there seems to be a plan to play high school basketball this year in Virginia, even if it starts a little later than usual. There’s been plenty of news of transfers across the state, and we will take a look at a few of them. Here’s a look at six underclassmen transfers  that should make a big impact this season.

Luke McEldon | 6’9” C | Oak Hill Academy 2022

McEldon was originally going to reclassify at Highland School to the 2023 class, but he showed so much potential and played well at some big camps this summer, enough for the national powerhouse to come knocking. He’s an impressive looking prospect that is massive with good hands and feet, a good work ethic and motor and a ton of potential moving forward.

Gray was one of the best sixth men in Richmond last year at LC Bird and decided to transfer to LCA so he can reclassify to the 2023 class. A strong combo guard that is physical in the paint, Gray thrives
