Nolan Hickman Nolan Hickman 6'2" | PG Wasatch Academy | 2021 State UT (Wasatch Academy)
Local Utahns were able to get a sneak peak of what type of player they will be able to see and play against when it comes to this 5-Star Kentucky commit.
Nolan has that unreal type talent as he can turn it on and off at anytime. While in St. George, Utah Nolan showed out with his Seattle Rotary squad. His speed and change of gears with the ball is elite. court vision is ideal as he can see and read what is coming and get the ball where it needs to be. Can go by elite defenders if they press him to high on the ball. He can also know down jumpers of the dribble and in catch and shoot situations. He can handle pressure with his elite handle on either side of the court. Moves extremely well without the ball in his hands.
Upon arrival in Kentucky it will likely just be a matter of how long he will stay in college.
Ethan Potter Ethan Potter 6'8" | SF Layton | 2021 State #194 Nation UT (Layton)
With offers from a handful of noteworthy programs Ethan will be staying home. Not as close to home as most people thought but home non the less. Ethan will be a Utah Valley Wolverine and play under Coach Mark Madsen who will provide some nice tutelage. The reigning 6A player of the year chose UVU over some great out of state schools.
Ethan is one of the best rim to rim runners in the country at the SF position. He can really get out ahead of the pack. He has a great wingspan that allows him to haul in rebounds on either end of the floor. He has a great back to the basket game but has slowly improved his face-up game as well. He has also asses a long ball to his game as he already dominates that short corner shot. Ethan is a huge pick up for UVU. One of the best in-state gets since probably Ben Aird out of Bountiful.
Robbie Ambrester (Wasatch Academy)
The Georgia native chose The University of Houston over UMBC which was really after him. Robbie is an undersized player as a SF but he plays hard and has that dog in him. He is tough on the block and mid-range. He poses a lot of match-up problems.
