Prep Hoops Maryland recently updated its class of 2022 rankings, and now it’s time to take a closer look. 6 newcomers are featured below.

#24 | Nicholas EvansNicholasEvans6'8" | CGonzaga | 2022StateMD | Gonzaga

Evans was one of the better finds of the summer. The long and wiry forward is a force in the paint defensively but also has an intriguing scoring touch on the offensive end. It will be interesting to see what type of impact he can make in the WCAC moving forward.

#44 | Ty WilliamsTyWilliams6'1" | PGRock Creek Christian | 2022StateMD | National Christian

Williams is a smooth operator who makes the game look simple. He takes what the defense gives him and can score efficiently or find an open teammate. Keep an eye out for Williams as he should only improve over time.

#47 | Shaq SamuelsShaqSamuels6'3" | SFAvalon | 2022StateMD | Avalon

Samuels is a bull in a china shop but in a good way. He plays with a controlled aggression that translates on both ends of the court. Avalon is building something nice and Samuels figures to be a key part of their plans.

#54 | Nic DeveNicDeve6'4" | SFSt. Mary's Ryken | 2022StateMD | St. Mary’s Ryken

Deve is a solid long-term wing prospect
