Prep Hoops Maryland recently updated its class of 2021 rankings, and now it’s time to take a closer look. 10 newcomers are featured below. 

#8 | Brayon FreemanBrayonFreeman6'1" | CGNational Christian | 2021StateMD | National Christian

Freeman returns to the DMV after playing at Huntington Prep last season. The GW Commit is a skilled combo guard who plays both ends of the floor and will be a fun player to watch throughout the upcoming season and beyond. 

#32 | Garfield TurnerGarfieldTurner6'7" | CMt. Zion Prep | 2021StateMD | Mt. Zion Prep

Turner is a former VMI commit who decided to prep into 2021 at Mt. Zion. He is a gritty paint enforcer who will be a welcomed addition in the frontcourt. 

#36 | Ismail HabibIsmailHabib6'0" | PGBishop Walsh | 2021StateMD | Bishop Walsh

Habib is a Chicago native who has taken his talents to Bishop Walsh. The Austin Peay commit is an explosive guard who can put the ball in the hole but does not lack toughness.

#37 | AJ LopezAJLopez6'5" | SGMt. Zion Prep | 2021StateMD | Mt. Zion Prep

Lopez is a promising perimeter prospect who has arrived at Mt. Zion from Florida. He is known for his paint-getting and elite finishing ability.
