The 2023 class is another promising group of players, as this year's sophomore group features plenty of talent and potential. Though these seven players did not crack our initial 2023 rankings released before the summer AAU season, don't be surprised to see them ranked in the future as they all had strong summers and have a promising mix of skill and potential.

Dylan Omweno (6' 2023 G, Apple Valley)- Dylan is a player who I've talked a lot about since first seeing him back in July, and it's because every time I see him play he seems to take over a game. He is one of the best scorers I've seen in the 2023 class, with a promising blend of speed, change of pace, shooting range, and crafty finishing ability around the rim. Dylan has an extremely dangerous hesitation move that he uses to blow by his man, and if you sag off he's not afraid to pull up from deep. 

Owen Carlson (6' 2023 G, Mahtomedi)- One of a few promising players in the Mahtomedi system, I've had a chance to see Owen play with both Crossfire and Minnesota Heat at the 15u level, and he impressed both times. The lanky
