Underrated 2022’s – Part 2
2022 6’0 PG Tayshawn Colvin Tayshawn Colvin 6'0" | PG Liberty | 2022 State WA (#32 Overall, #7 PG) (Liberty HS) – Colvin is more than likely properly, or near properly placed rankings wise, but he is a player that more colleges should know about and be contacting. He plays for a small high school and didn’t get to play this Summer, but the results on the court the last couple years cannot be denied. The 6’0 point guard is just one of those guys that finds a way to make the nifty pass, tough shot or clutch basket with the game on the line.
2022 6’0 PG Bennett O’Connor Bennett O’Connor 6'0" | PG Mt. Si | 2022 State WA (#22 Overall, #5 PG) (Mt. Si HS) – A prospect that has been on our radar for multiple years now due to his handle, strength and basketball IQ. The young pup of the highly successful Mt. Si High School teams the last couple years is expected to be a confident floor general this upcoming season. I also expect his scoring averages to considerably rise with the departure of Mullins and Patterson. O’Connor holds an offer from Point Loma Nazarene, but I would expect more schools to get on the junior soon.
2022 5’10 PG Bryson Metz Bryson Metz 5'11" | PG Union | 2022 State WA (#21 Overall, #4 PG) (Union HS) – The new addition to Union High school by way of Kingsway Christian, doesn’t possess great size or length, but he has serious game. Metz is strong and very skilled with the ball in his hands. He has grown a little bit and his explosiveness is becoming more apparent. A deceptive point guard that more colleges should definitely be aware of.
