Cameron Lowe Cameron Lowe 6'5" | SF Lewis-Palmer | 2022 State CO — Lewis-Palmer
This was Lowe’s best day, and he showed that he is a force to be reckoned with for the next two seasons. He can score from anywhere on the floor, and he did it with ease. He has a beautiful shooting stroke, which frees up his ability to switch it up and get to the basket. The 2022 newest Top-10 standout has solid size for a wing and also can create for himself. He remains in attack-mode, is a bucket, and goes right at you. He also showcased his athleticism this week. He was out on the break and getting dunks. His stock has steadily risen, and is getting back to himself after the injury.
Myles Purchase Myles Purchase 5'11" | PG Cherry Creek | 2021 State CO — Cherry Creek
The game comes easy for Purchase. He is scoring, he’s facilitating, and he is making life hard for the defender on both ends of the floor. He had some impressive passes that left the defense confused and was blowing by defenders for bucket after bucket. Purchase is a player that you can put with anybody, and he is going to bring out their best self. He is a natural leader that brings his savviness to whatever team he is on, encourages teammates to get going, and has a contagious style of play. It’s fun to see him when we can before he gets into football mode and goes for an attempt at a state championship repeat in his senior season.
Marzouq Abdur-Razaaq Marzouq Abdur-Razaaq 6'7" | SF Accelerated Prep | 2023 State CO — Overland
Marzouq is a top 2023 player that continues to progress. He is an exciting player to watch because he is a kid that doesn’t seem to have many negative parts to his game. He offers a bit of everything. He finished inside with either hand and had his left hand going for him this week. He gets good positioning down low, battles with the bigs, and doesn’t back down to anybody. Marzouq is a forward that knows where to be, and his IQ as an off-ball defender separates him. He has a natural feel for the game, while still being young and adding new things to his game each week. Marzouq appears to be a student of the game and will be a player to watch moving forward.
Jaeton Hackley Jaeton Hackley 5'11" | PG Douglas County | 2022 State CO — Douglas County
This was the week for me. This was the week that I went all-in. Hackley is an elite guard, and the 2022 classes best point guard. He is a fluid player and well balanced, and that’s what makes him dangerous. He does not have many flaws, and he is one of the most competitive players in the gym each week, but he took it up another level. He was hitting shots despite being defended by the best defender in the gym, breaks defenders down off of the dribble as an above-average ballhandler with go-to moves, and was finishing around the rim. He also is a great defender that is motivated on that end of the floor. He had a couple of steals, scored off of those steals, and got teammates involved. He has the recipe for success and has been applying it—a solid day for him.
