D1 Minnesota – Tamin Lipsey (on ball lock down)
D1 Minnesota Prospects – Cole Tiran Cole Tiran 5'10" | PG Eden Prairie | 2021 State MN (consistent in position)
Gilleylen Elite – D’sean Larkins D’sean Larkins 6'0" | PG Robbinsdale Armstrong | 2021 State MN (defended a few positions)
Grassroots Sizzle – Andre Gray Andre Gray 6'4" | SG Mpls North | 2021 State MN (one of the most intimidating guard defenders out there)
Howard Pulley – Hassan Kamara Hassan Kamara 6'4" | SG Columbia Heights | 2022 MN (his position and on-ball defense was outstanding every time)
Minnesota Comets – Dom Aguilar (can defend three different spots)
MN Crossfire Jorgenson – Evan Hoy (6’7 held his spot well)
MN Crossfire Stone – Reagan Koch Reagan Koch 6'3" | PG Jordan | 2021 State MN (always in position, always harassing)
MN Fury – Eddie Beeninga Eddie Beeninga 6'1" | PG Wayzata | 2021 State MN (so disruptive, and a few times his defensive plays were clutch)
MN Heat – Andrew Morgan Andrew Morgan 6'9" | C Waseca | 2021 State #178 Nation MN (not just the blocks but the low post D was excellent)
MN Heat PB&J – Laron Thomas Laron Thomas 6'1" | SG North St. Paul | 2021 State MN (played with so much energy)
MN Matrix – Kortland Johnsen (has the potential to be a strong defender for AV)
Mn Rise – Caden Grinde Caden Grinde 6'3" | SG Spring Grove | 2021 State MN (disruptive so many plays on the wing)
MN Select Ohnstad – Jaelen Treml Jaelen Treml 6'4" | SF Hopkins | 2021 State MN (loves the assignment of a top guy)
MN Select Robinson – Mick Wherley (Shakopee big was so active when I watched)
Playmakers Showcase – Zaa Buffalo (Brought constant energy)
WOTN – Cooper Laufenburger Cooper Laufenburger 6'5" | SF Lakeville North | 2021 State MN (quick hands, passing lane disruptor)
My Top Three for Summer Defensive MVP?
I would go with Kamara, Lipsey, and Treml
