Though the summer season was not what anyone expected heading into the year 2020, high school basketball players still got to participate in a summer season. I wanted to give a rundown of players from the state of Iowa that got to play this summer and showed well. Here is the class 4A point guards that stood out to me.


Reid GrantReidGrant6'1" | PGJohnston | 2021StateIA, 2021 - 6’2 PG - Kingdom Hoops 17U & Johnston High School

I’m not sure anyone saw their stock rise as much as Reid GrantReidGrant6'1" | PGJohnston | 2021StateIA did playing for Kingdom Hoops this summer. Garnering his first DI offers from Tennessee Tech, Coastal Carolina, and North Dakota. Grant showed everyone that watched what he can bring to a program as a pass first PG, who can also get a bucket when you call his number. In a few games I was able to watch this summer he had to have double digit assist numbers. The main thing about Reid is that he doesn’t back down from anyone, as he went up against high caliber PG’s all summer session and competed. If he got beat one play,
