New Names:

– G – Kenosha Tremper
I’ll need to see Stark against a varsity roster, but he had one of the best tournaments of anyone this summer — hands down. He gets to the rim better than most in his class, is solid physically, and presents athleticism on both ends. I also saw flashes as a shot-blocker against smaller guards.
Jamisen Young

Just like Stark, Young needs to check some boxes against varsity talent. Still, he’s ultra-quick and can get around any defender with his dribbling prowess. This summer he proved that he has a niche to build off of, if he keeps developing he could catch the attention of college scouts.
Josiah Butler

Butler made a lasting impression this summer. He’s a steady guard that can get you points, contribute on the glass, and take the reins of an offense. I especially liked his methodical driving style, which is a unique trait that may help separate him from the guards in his class.
Underdogs:
Marshawn Robinson

All of us at PHW were impressed by Robinson’s improvements. This is a guy that honed all aspects of his game in two years. College scouts should see his length, defensive ferocity, drastically improved jumper, and handle — which makes him especially versatile and effective as a primary scoring option.
Kenny Garth

Garth is a strong, explosive player that can do a little bit of everything when given the keys to the offense. Running with a talented

squad this summer, he showed slashing skills and surprised me vision and crisp passing.
Josh Terrian

Pewaukee | 2022
State
WI
– G – Pewaukee
Terrian is a stocky, gritty player that can move freely in a lineup. He plays with effort every play and brings power whether it’s in his drives or as a paint defender. I could see him being a coach’s favorite at the division two level if he keeps expanding his skillset.
Simeon Murchison

– C/PF – Milwaukee Bay View
I watched Murchison physically control games this summer, but as a center (or power forward), he isn’t getting his due attention. At 6’8” with a filled-out frame, advanced physical traits, and body control, he’ll be an immediate-impact player next year. Rebounding comes very naturally, and he can score relentlessly when given the touches.
Mason Prey

I see Prey becoming a

-type prospect. He doesn’t quite have the scoring savvy yet, but he certainly can get it done at all three levels. Prey’s also a bigger guard, allowing him to see over defenders and play a facilitating role.
Players To Look Forward To:
Learic Davis

Milwaukee Bradley Tech | 2022
State
WI
– Guard/Wing – Milwaukee Bradley Tech
Every bit of film I’ve seen from Davis from mid-season until the end of summer gets me excited for the future. The bouncy wing excites in transition and has all the makings of a slashing, physically superior guard.
C.J. Campbell

New Richmond | 2022

WI
– Guard – New Richmond
Campbell picked up an offer from Northern Michigan this summer, although it seemed to go unnoticed. The 6’5” guard grabs scouts with bounce and length. Although he’s still a raw player offensively, there’s a lot of statistical production from his sophomore year. Ultimately, I like his potential for growth, as he could be a dominant backcourt player at the next level.
Seth Trimble

WI
– PG – Menomonee Falls
Trimble is a special player. He regularly defies gravity as a dunker and can captivate a gym with his savvy finishing at the rim. There’s no apparent flaw beyond that, as he can shoot from the perimeter and is a level-headed, patient guard that can run an offense. In his junior season, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him rise to a national platform recruitment-wise.
Andrew Alia

Alia

Kenosha St. Joseph | 2022
State
WI
– G – Kenosha St. Joseph
Alia piqued my interest when he nabbed division one interest as an underclassman. No offers have come in, but he’s a smooth scorer that operates effortlessly at all three levels. If he takes another big leap, which he’s more than capable of, then he should start receiving some offers.
