Garrett Bolte (Hinsdale South – 2022)
The star of the night was this Hinsdale South four man. The skilled post went to work all night long. He drilled a handful of threes off the catch as a spot up shooter. Finished dump off passes, ran the floor hard, and worked well converting in the pick/roll. Extremely efficient with his touches. Excellent post defense as he walled up and contested throughout the night.
Brady Ruggles (Wheaton Warrenville South – 2022)
Ruggles turned it up a notch the second half of the scrimmages. He is a thinly built shooting guard with long arms and excellent size at 6’5”. Clean looking stroke shooting it from mid-range and three. More than just a shooter however he has some athletic pop to his game and we liked the sound decisions he made with the ball as a passer.
Danny New Danny New 6'1" | PG Aurora Christian | 2022 IL (Aurora Christian – 2022)
This 6’1” combo guard brings a ton of toughness to the table. He rebounds well for a guard and was very active on the defensive end. Has a nose for the basketball getting put backs and scoring in transition.
Kyle Neibch (Batavia – 2022)
One of the breakout players of the night was this 6’2” shooting guard. He was absolute money from three. We had him for seven from beyond the arc on the night including a pair of James Harden like side step threes. He did that to create on his own while also drilling them off the catch over and over again. Had a couple nice dishes to cutters and on dump off passes.
Jayden Dean Jayden Dean 6'2" | PG Nequa Valley | 2022 State IL (Neuqua Valley – 2022)
Dean is a bowling ball point guard with his strength and compact build at 6’0”. He knows how to use his strength in transition getting to the rim and shielding the ball away from the defender. Decent shooter that hit a pair from distance.
Aiden Wieczorek (Huntley – 2022)
Another new name that emerged here. This 6’1” shooting guard has a skilled game that allows him to be a shot maker and creator. He regularly was making plays in the lane on spin moves that resulted in mid-range jumpers. Also had a turnaround jumper and runner game as well. Crafty guard that is lethal in the 12-15 foot range.
Niel Davis (Kenwood – 2022)
Davis broke out this summer on the Prep Hoop Circuit with Old Gold. The long and rangy 6’2” two guard was outstanding all night at Stealth Runs. High energy and active player that gets on the offensive glass for put backs using his long arms to keep possessions alive. He was really good in transition splitting defenders slithering to the hoop. Like what he brings to the table defensively with his quickness and length.
Trey Keizer Trey Keizer 6'2" | SG Timothy Christian | 2022 State IL (Timothy Christian – 2022)
Bit of a quiet night for Keizer, but as always he managed to connect on a couple threes.
Keon Richardson (Tinley Park – 2022)
Richardson is a lead guard from Tinley Park that started off slow and then got it going as the night went along. Capable shooter from three knocking down an array of them over the course of the scrimmages. Also a pesky defender that put pressure on opposing guards.
Brady Heckman Brady Heckman 6'1" | PG Benet Academy | 2022 State IL (Benet – 2022)
This 6’1” two guard did what he usually does which is knock down threes hitting several of them. Also had a couple transition finishes and a slick mid-range shot off a spin move. It was actually his defense that caught our attention. Moved his feet well laterally and beat his man to the spot time and time again.
Ethan Marlowe Ethan Marlowe 6'8" | PF St. Charles North | 2022 State IL (St. Charles North – 2022)
Marlowe is probably the top long term prospect at the event. The 6’8” four man has legit size, broad shoulders, mobility, and skill. He flashed throughout the night, but couldn’t get his shots to fall consistently. Did manage a pair of threes along with hitting from 15 feet showing sound shooting mechanics. Quickness in the paint and bounce flashed despite missing a few bunnies. One to track this season as he could be St Charles North’s next star post.
Mo Sall (Downers Grove North – 2022)
Sall is an interesting prospect. Wing with super long arms that was a good rebounder keeping balls alive on the offensive end and had some glimpses on the defensive end. The jump shot has a long ways to go for him to reach his full potential.
Brennan White (Benet – 2022)
We recently saw White and liked what we saw. Another solid outing for him here. The Benet point guard passes the rock with flair. Very good in the drive and kick setting up his shooters. Also used his crisp ball handling to get in the lane for a few scores of his own.
