Wallace Rose 2021 Guard Jahan Owens is a prospect that averaged about 17 Points a night during his sophomore season. We saw some of this offensive capability during the event but he also showed his potential to be an outstanding defender.
New Life 2021 Guard Alvin Singleton came into this event as one of the better shooters and he showed that talent knocking down some shots during 5 on 5 play. He gets his shot off pretty quickly and is efficient especially in catch and shoot situations.
Richlands HS 2021 Guard Josh Davis looked more comfortable and confident at this event which allowed him to make some positive plays for his squad. He is a solid three point shooter with nice range on his shot, but doesn’t force plays at all.
EE Smith 2023 Guard Darius Robinson will be one to keep an eye on over the next few years as his role will only increase. He can shoot the trey ball well and will only get better as time goes on.
Washington HS 2021 Wing Matt Van Staalduinen: Really like what we saw from him throughout the day, he has a nice overall skillset and can play inside and out. Although his offensive touches were somewhat limited, he made the most of the touches that he got.
Harrells Christian 2022 Forward Tyrone Barbee: Plenty of upside in his game makes him a very intriguing prospect, he has good size and wingspan that he should be able to add muscle to as time goes on, so colleges should go ahead and keep a close eye on him. Defensively he showed that he can defend guards as well as bigs , coming up with an outstanding defensive stance in the clutch moments against a guard that was scoring the ball at a high level.
