The Seattle Seattle Select 2021 team scored a close win over Utah Premier’s 18u team 54-52 on day one. I had the opportunity to view a good portion of this game and view multiple prospects that are underrated and will definitely be playing at the next level.
Seattle Select 2021 Sleepers
2021 6’2 PG Alex Pape Alex Pape 6'2" | PG Roosevelt | 2021 State WA (Roosevelt HS) – A really hard working guard that plays his role on the floor as a point guard. Pape is a kid that has steadily gotten better each year and has worked hard to put himself in a position to attract some college attention. A high academic student that will definitely have a high academic college basketball opportunity.
2021 6’11 C Liam Hanenburg Liam Hanenburg 6'11" | C Lynden | 2021 State WA (Lynden HS) – A burly big man with good hands and improving mobility. Hanenburg gets up and down the floor very well for his size. Solid screen and roll player that can catch and finish. The 6’11 big man is also a very good free throw shooter!
2021 6’0 PG Jared Roznos Jared Roznos 6'1" | CG Seattle Prep | 2021 State WA (Seattle Prep) – A strong athlete that handles well, gets into the paint and makes plays on both sides of the ball with his athleticism. This should come as no surprise as he is an Air Force football commit.
2021 6’4 SG Noah Pepper Noah Pepper 6'4" | SG Selah | 2021 State WA (Selah HS) – One of my favorite players to watch in the 2021 class. Pepper is strong as an ox, plays hard and he is an equally good passer and scorer. He showed off his normal outstanding team defense on the help side and he also got to the paint and scored with ease. His lone offer is from George Fox University, but overall, Pepper has been severely under-recruited.
