One of the goals for hoopers at the Top 250 is to walk away knowing that they exceeded expectations—for themselves, and for whoever laid an eye on them. These five certainly did just that. Check out part one of the 2021-2022 “stock risers” from the Expo.

Adrian Cruz | 6-2 | Southwest Miami

When I think back to Adrian’s game, the word “ACTIVE” immediately comes to mind. Cruz is an exceptional driver to the cup and an equally great cutter to the basket. He’s not afraid to attack the paint and draw contact for and-ones. From the wing, he showed how he can hit the mid-range jumper, as well as the three-ball. Going into his junior season, look out for a breakout year from Cruz.

Primus came to the Expo and made an impact on both sides of the ball. Offensively, the senior holds a solid jumper and knows how to get past defenders to drive it to the cup.
