Time to dive into the superlatives from the Prep Hoops Circuit.  In this series we look at specific skills and classes for who shined the most in that area during the PHC.  Here is our Prep Hoops Circuit: Top 2022 Illinois Defenders!

Christian MeeksChristianMeeks6'5" | SFHomewood Flossmoor | 2022StateIL (Illinois Hoopstars National)

Meeks was a factor defending on the interior and perimeter.  Also a shot blocking presence.

Jeremiah JonesJeremiahJones6'4" | SFPlainfield South | 2021StateIL (Illinois Hoopstars National)

Really liked what this Marian Catholic wing did defending on the perimeter creating turnovers.

Eric Locke (Illinois Jaguars)

Long and lanky four man is a shot blocking presence that also has the mobility to defend on the perimeter.

Austin Ford (Illinois Jaguars)

Quick hands at the point of attack putting pressure on the ball.

Jeremiah Babers (Archangels)

Babers shined defensively with his ability to defend opposing point guards.

Alexandre Egipciaco (Archangels)

Led team in steals with two a game using his active hands on perimeter.

Famious French (Illinois Hoopstars Central)

Big and athletic wing that used his physical gifts on the defensive end.

Fawaz Sukurat (Illinois Hoopstars North Williams)

Sukurat was a fun player to watch on the defensive end
