The class of 2022 rankings were recently released. With over 75 players making the list, it’s our most extensive rankings yet. Even as young players, what struck me most about this class was the sheer number of run jump athletes. In this article we take a look at the top 10 R&J athletes in the class.

  2. AJ StorrAJStorr6'6" | SFBishop Gorman | 2022StateNV 6’6 SF Bishop Gorman (#3) (featured image) - Good vertical leaper that explodes well off two feet.
  3. Shane ThomasShaneThomas6'3" | SGCentennial | 2022StateNV 6’3 SG Durango (#6) - Fast agile athlete that needs little momentum to reach maximum vertical. 
  4. Dontrell JohnsonDontrellJohnson6'5" | PFBonanza | 2022StateNV 6’5 PF Bonanza (#13) - The Tasmanian devil is a blur that makes up ground in a hurry then explodes to the rim off 1. 
  5. Edward RhamboEdwardRhambo6'3" | SFPalo Verde | 2022StateNV 6’3 SF Palo Verde (#41) - Two sports star. Physical athlete that runs a 4.4 40.
  6. Elijah JohnsonElijahJohnson5'10" | PGDurango | 2022StateNV 5’10 PG Durango (#15) - Literally the definition of run and jump. Maybe fastest player in the state, don’t be surprised if you see the
