Marquise Johnson Marquise Johnson 6'2" | SG Trinity Prep | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Bonanza (#24) – Johnson is a player that I had seen little of in the past. That changed this Summer as the twin brother of #13 on our list Dontrell Johnson Dontrell Johnson 6'5" | SF Trinity | 2022 State NV , excelled. He showed a nice stoke as well as the ability to finish in transition.
Frank Evans Frank Evans 6'1" | SG Eldorado | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Bonanza (#25) – I’m guessing Coach Soares is salivating with all the new talent now available to him. Evans is a smooth scorer with a throwback game. He’s effective from the mid-range, but can also get out in transition and finish. With him and both Johnson Twins now eligible, the boost of talent for the Bengals is huge.
Darrion Williams Darrion Williams 6'6" | SF Bishop Gorman | 2022 State NV 6’6 SF Bishop Gorman (#7) – As if the 9 time defending state champs weren’t already stacked. Williams joins Storr and c/o 2021 transfer Daniel Rouzan Daniel Rouzan 6'8" | PF Bishop Gorman | 2021 CA-S to add size and depth to an already talented team. He also adds another dimension as the versatile Williams should serve as a playmaker with his back to the basket or when playing the high post. Williams is a high IQ facilitator with good instincts and understanding of offensive basketball.
Jaycob McBath Jaycob McBath 6'0" | PG Skyline Prep | 2022 State AZ 6’0 PG Desert Valley Prep (#10) – McBath reclassified down. He was already one of the top guards in the c/o 2021 so I expect his stock to rise rapidly with both the transfer and a full year at DVP. He cracks the top 10 because of his P&R skills, shooting and performances against top competition.
AJ Storr AJ Storr 6'6" | SF IMG Academy post grad | 2022 State #119 Nation FL 6’6 SG Bishop Gorman (#3) (featured image) – Storr joins the Silver State from Illinois. He has already made a big splash showing off his scoring and athletic ability against top competition. Dynamic in the open court and with the ability to beat you from behind the line, the 6’6 wing comes to the state holding offers from IUPUI and Chicago St.
