Pangos Rocky Mountain Summit: High Academic Players
The Rocky Mountain Summit took place this weekend. Hosted by recruiting legend Dinos Trigonis, the 48 team showcase featured some of the top AAU programs on the West Coast. It also included some of the smartest student athletes in the country. In this article PH takes a look at some of the high academic prospects from the event.
Quin Patterson Quin Patterson 6'7" | SF Mount Si | 2022 State WA 6’7 SF Team LaVine 2022 (#8PHW 2022) – When he’s not busy knocking down open 3’s Patterson is in the books. The sharpshooting wing currently holds a 3.99 GPA.
Jaden Hansen Jaden Hansen 6'1" | PG Rocky Mountain | 2021 State ID 6’1 PG Idaho Premiere 2021 (#2PHI 2021) (featured image) – Hansen is a tough gritty PG that plays like a team leader. His leadership also shows off in the classroom as he sports a 3.8 GPA.
Caden Flowers 5’11 PG College Prep 2021 (#23PHNC) – A cerebral PG on the floor, Flowers doesn’t just have IQ on the court. The PG is a borderline genius who carries a 4.2 GPA.
Aaron Price 6’5 PF Vegas Elite 2022 (#14PHN 2022) – The athletic 4 man loves to use his explosive R&J ability to play above the rim. He also goes above and beyond in the classroom, rocking a 4.2 GPA.
Joe Mpoyo Joe Mpoyo 6'4" | SG Meridian | 2021 State ID 6’3 SG Idaho Premiere 2021 (#10PHI 2021) – Mopoyo brought his strap with him this weekend. The 3.5 student sprayed 3’s from all over the floor, helping IP to an impressive showing.
Cobi Campbell Cobi Campbell 6'2" | PG Puyallup | 2021 State WA 6’2 CG Team LaVine 2021 (#14PHW 2021) – Campbell is an intriguing prospect for a ton of reasons. The lefty is a crafty playmaker that can shoot it. He also brings it in the classroom as well, holding a 3.9 GPA.
