Quentin Meza 6’0 PG Cyprus 2023 (UT) (#30PHU 2023) – I’m a fan of the Cueball. Just has a winners feel for the game. Meza has the ability to stop on a dime and drill a transition 3 or freeze a defender in the lane before getting a shot on the glass over an outstretched defender. Perhaps he doesn’t pass the eye test, but he is an absolute dog that plays at a high level whenever he takes the court.
Justin Daniels Justin Daniels 6'4" | SG Mater Dei | 2023 CA-S 6’4 SG Mater Dei (CA) (2023 – Wing player with terrific run and jump athleticism. Daniels was explosive and showed the ability to impact the game when playing downhill in transition.
AJ Johnson 6’3 CG Taft (CA) 2023 – Johnson made it look easy. His long strides gobble up real estate on the basketball court and he has an advanced layup package. Johnson was effective playing both the 1 and the 2 as he showed the vision and passing skills to create plays for teammates.
Tyler Harris 6’7 SF Newark Memorial (CA) 2023 (#5PHNC 2023) (featured image) – Perhaps the most explosive player at the camp. Harris effortlessly gets off the ground. He’s an uber long athlete with a quick second jump. Harris had several powerful dunks on the day,
Benjamin Roseborough 6’3 PG Sacramento (CA) 2024 – Roseborough made it difficult for me to look away. While I didn’t specifically go out of my way to watch his games, every time I turned around he was impacting the game. Roseborough has an advanced frame, rebounds his position well, and showed the ability to finish through contact.
Sterling Knox 6’4 SF Durango (NV) 2023 (#3PHN 2023) – Knox put together a complete performance. He was good off the bounce, and showed consistency with his stroke. Such an intriguing prospect, Knox is a versatile player that you may find playing every position on the floor at some time.
Khaman Maker Khaman Maker 7'1" | C Trinity | 2024 State #127 Nation NV 7’1 C Desert Valley Prep (NV) 2024 – It’s only going to be a matter of time before people start to take notice of the 7 foot Maker. He plays with a joy and passion that translates to the defensive side of the ball. A natural rim protector because of his size, Maker challenged every shot and pursued every rebound on the day.
