High School basketball has been postponed until March at the earliest in California, and multiple players have continued to take part in various grassroots events in other parts of the country.

One of those events, the Pangos All West Frosh/Soph Camp was held this weekend in Utah. The camp featured some of the top talent in the classes of 2023 and 2024 on the West Coast.

Here’s a look at some of the local Southern California players who participated in the camp.

1. Elijah NelsonElijahNelson6'1" | SGFountain Valley | 2023 – Fountain Valley 2023

Nelson is a very intriguing player with a lot of potential. He’s got good size for a guard and he’s very athletic. He can finish strong at the rim and he has a lot of bounce in his jump. Solid ball-handler who can attack the rim. He’s also a very good defensive player on the wing and that’s an area where he can really make a strong impact.

2. Shane Bodden – Providence 2023

Bodden is an incoming transfer from Oak Park. He has a very solid three-point shot. He’s a great set shooter who moves well without the ball and gets himself free on the arc. Squares up
