With the Covid-19 pandemic (still) harboring our daily lives, it is important to get information out on these players. This is ever more necessary with guys not attending schools like IMG or Montverde Academy. Those kids will be fine, I assure you.
Let’s look into it.
Taderrius Davis Taderrius Davis 6'7" | PF Miami | 2021 State FL – Miami High
2021 Taderrius Davis Taderrius Davis 6'7" | PF Miami | 2021 State FL is a premier talent in Miami-Dade County. The 6-foot-6 Stingaree is a force with range to play almost anywhere on the court. You can make a strong argument Davis is one of the best interior players across this region. The combination of his size and quickness justifies him into the conversation. Davis can pepper you with his scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and blocked shots. Therefore, you are inherently looking at a five-tool player on the court. Rumblings have Davis in contact with schools such as Winthrop and Southern Illinois.
Darius Fowler – Miami High
Sticking with the Stingarees, 2021 Darius Fowler is another name to know. Fowler has good size at the shooting guard position at 6-foot-3 and started all 24 games as a junior. With 2021 star Justin Neely Justin Neely 6'5" | CG West Oaks | 2021 State FL drawing double teams, Fowler is a prime look to see more opportunities. In addition, Fowler is riding quality momentum after playing well in the district/state playoffs last year. Against Miami Beach, Fowler finished with ten points, four assists, three steals and two rebounds. In a match-up with Coral Park, Fowler hit a huge 3-pointer with 17 seconds left to finish with 13 points and seal the win for Miami High. As of now, Fowler is a solid D2 player with wind at his back heading into his senior season.
Deshawn Jean-Charles Deshawn Jean-Charles 6'6" | PF West Oaks | 2022 State FL – Miramar
With a state championship in its back pocket, the Patriots are hungry for more. Looking to carry the momentum to another title run in is 2022 wing Deshawn Jean-Charles Deshawn Jean-Charles 6'6" | PF West Oaks | 2022 State FL . DJC is a freak athlete at 6-foot-6 with the ability to guard all five positions. On the offensive end, Jean-Charles can cross defenders and get into the lane or beat you with his strength in the low post. Moreover, the junior has great body control to spin off defenders and hit a shot in the middle of the floor. Jean-Charles showed off his potential with 25 points in the state final, doubling his season average. The big-game playmaker picked up an offer from New Orleans back in June. Jean-Charles should be more of a focal point this year so his stock should continue to rise.
Dylan Canoville – Calvary Christian
2021 wing Dylan Canoville is sleeper talent on a loaded Eagles roster. At 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, Canoville is much more than a glue option. The senior will get a chance to showcase his talent as the Eagles are playing a national schedule with an invite to the City of Palms Classic in Fort Myers. Canoville can guard the 1-4 and will lacerate a defense with his size and toughness. In addition, Canoville will be a truck on the glass and a motor in Eagles transition breaks. A point of emphasis for him should be to continue to work on his handle and shooting. Luckily, Canoville is in the right place with high quality teammates and a elite coach in Cilk McSweeney. Programs such as Towson and College of Charleston have been in contact with him.
