Here are some of the top forwards:
Joe Hurlburt Joe Hurlburt 6'10" | PF Enderlin | 2022 State #147 Nation MN , Enderlin
Hurlburt was the top-rated prospect before and the only thing that has changed is the distance he’s put between himself and the rest of the pack. The 6-foot-10 big man earned a nice collection of high-major Division I offers over the summer thanks to excellent play with D1 Minnesota. He’s the best prospect the state has seen in a long time.
Gus Hurlburt Gus Hurlburt 6'9" | PF Enderlin | 2022 State ND , Enderlin
Hurlburt is one of the best prospects in the state and had a good summer playing with D1 Minnesota. At 6-foot-8, Hurlburt has a rare blend of athleticism and skill. He’s big and strong and he plays with tremendous energy on both ends of the floor. He’ll join his brother to form the best frontcourt pairing in the state
Zander Albers Zander Albers 6'5" | PF Bismarck Legacy | 2022 State ND , Bismarck Legacy
Albers emerged as a rock-solid player as a sophomore for Bismarck Legacy, averaging better than nine points and five rebounds. At 6-foot-5, Albers has the perimeter skills plus interior toughness to present matchup problems for a lot of people. He’ll have a lot more responsibility as a junior for a Sabers team that is good enough to contend in the WDA.
Scott Wagner Scott Wagner 6'8" | C Ellendale | 2022 State ND , Ellendale
Wagner has been a double-double machine over the last two years for Ellendale and is one of the most dominant low post players in Class B. He’s 6-foot-7 and combines solid skill with a relentless motor and a great understanding of how to use his body for positioning on defense and the glass.
Michael Nhial Michael Nhial 6'7" | SF West Fargo Sheyenne | 2022 State ND , West Fargo Sheyenne
Nhial played sparing mop up minutes as a sophomore for West Fargo Sheyenne, showing the potential as a wing who can shoot it and slash at a high level. He’s got excellent size at 6-foot-6 and combines it with perimeter skill and great energy on the defensive end of the floor.
Dominic Dosmann, West Fargo Sheyenne
Dosmann saw mop up minutes as a sophomore for the Mustangs and showed flashes of potential over the summer with ECI. He’s got great length and while he’s not the strongest guy, he plays with toughness and physicality. Dosmann can defend multiple positions effectively as well. West Fargo Sheyenne is going to have a deep and talented frontcourt this winter and Dosmann will factor into that group heavily.
