It’s never too early for too-early-season. With fall sports and school underway, it’s only a matter of time before the winter sports season is upon us. 

With that in mind, here’s a look at the top duos in Class B:

Josh Dixon and Max KobbervigMaxKobbervig5'10" | PGCentral Cass | 2021StateND, Central Cass

Central Cass reached the Region 1 championship last year and while the Squirrels are losing three starters, the remaining two should keep them in the mix. Josh Dixon emerged as one of the best forwards in Class B last year, routinely producing 15-20 points thanks to an advanced low-post game and soft shooting touch. Kobbervig is one of the top 3-point shooters in the region and will have even more scoring responsibility as a senior after excelling as a complementary guy last season.

Colton Konschak and Kelby Azure, Hatton/Northwood

Konschak has been one of the better players in Region 2 each of the last two years, averaging better than 14 points per game for a Thunder team that was ranked in the top-10 most of the season. At 6-foot-5, he’ll have the keys this season and tasked with creating a lot of shots
