Chance Morrow Chance Morrow 6'6" | SF West Charlotte | 2022 State NC – Mint Hill Lakers 17U – 6’5 Wing/Forward
Marrow came out of nowhere this weekend and appeared on the 17U stage with Glenn Bynum Jr Glenn Bynum Jr 6'3" | CG Carmel Christian | 2021 State NC . and put on a show with his ability to play above the rim at both ends. He’s a long, athletic hybrid wing/forward that likes to attack the paint and finish with authority and isn’t afraid to challenge defenders at the rim on defense. He posted 20.3 ppg and knocked down five 3-pointers this past weekend as a standout performer at Big Shots Southeast Showdown. He’s a face to keep an eye on with a new rankings update looming for the Class of 2023.
JJ Moore JJ Moore 5'9" | PG Quality Education | 2024 NC – Huss – 6’0 Point Guard
Moore is a floor general that was exciting to watch at the Big Shots Southeast Showdown in the 15U Orange Division. He’s a gritty guard that makes opponents have to defend him given his ability to score on all three levels and handle the basketball. He’s unselfish with the ball in his hands and does well getting to his spots on the floor to make plays. Defensively, he’s an even bigger presence on the ball, pressuring his opponent and making his presence known.
Zechariah Barbour Zechariah Barbour 6'4" | PF Forest Hills | 2023 State NC – CB Hoops – 6’5 Forward
Barbour was a breath of fresh air when looking at traditional big men who stayed true to their game on the floor. He’s a strong bodied forward that battles on the interior for boards and finishes in traffic with ease around the rim. He finished the weekend fourth in points per game (19.0) and third in total points (57) in the 15U Orange Division for CB Hoops. He’s a name to watch as the update for the Class of 2023 looms.
Nicolas Davis Nicolas Davis 6'6" | SF Elevation Prep Academy | 2023 State NC – CB Hoops – 6’5 Guard/Wing
Davis is a versatile prospect with a nice blend of length and athleticism while still coming into his own athletically. He finishes well through traffic and showed a nice touch on his shot. He knocked down four 3-pointers while averaging 12.0 ppg for CB Hoops this past weekend. He’s one to keep an eye on at Myers Park.
Elijah Strong Elijah Strong 6'8" | PF Myers Park | 2023 State #230 Nation NC – Team Synergy – 6’8 Forward/Center
Strong is another prospect at Myers Park to keep an eye on, though he appeared with a different team at Big Shots Southeast Showdown in Team Synergy . He was a mismatch problem all over the floor given his size and mobility at the forward position.
