Amari Pearson Amari Pearson 6'3" | SF Cape Fear Christian Academy | 2022 State NC – Team Dawg – 6’4 Wing/Guard
Pearson didn’t waste any time stepping onto the Big Shots stage and making his presence felt with three rim-rocking dunks to kick off the game for Team Dawg. He’s an athletic wing prospect that likes to pressure the ball, force steals and make highlight dunks on the fastbreak. He’s really come into his own as one that can impact the game. He’ll be one to keep an eye on over at Cape Fear Christian Academy.
Evan Montanari Evan Montanari 6'2" | SG Gaston Day | 2023 State NC – Upward Stars 704 – 6’1 Shooting Guard
Montanari is a sharpshooter that turned heads at Big Shots Southeast Showdown with his prowess on the perimeter. He led the 16U Orange Division in total 3-pointers made (15) and total points (66) for Upward Stars 704, as they made it to the title game against Team Dawg. He knocked down seven 3-pointers to the tune of 23 points in that one. He averaged 16.3 ppg on the weekend and has recently started drawing interest from colleges with his ability to knock it down from deep in a hurry.
Evan Presnell Evan Presnell 5'11" | CG Alexander Central | 2022 State NC – Upward Stars 704 – 5’10 Guard
Presnell was another prospect on the Upward Stars 704 roster that was a thorn in his opponents’ side with his ability to shoot the 3-ball and distribute the ball. He knocked down a total of 11 3-pointers on the weekend, including a seven 3-pointer, 29-point performance against Big Shots Elite Tri-Cities. He put up 16.3 ppg and is another combo guard to watch out for in the Class of 2022.
Elijah Harris Elijah Harris 6'5" | PF Athens Drive | 2022 State NC – No Guts No Glory – 6’5 Forward/Center
Harris really came into his own this past weekend for No Guts No Glory. He scored a game-winning layup and showed his consistency as constant presence around the rim on both ends. He posted 16.0 ppg on the weekend. As he learns to use his size to his advantage and rebound more on both ends, look for him grow more in the 2022 class.
Brock Adams Brock Adams 6'4" | SF Lake Prep | 2022 State NC – Team Hope – 6’4 Wing/Forward
Adams was a standout prospect in the Team Hope lineup with his ability to operate all over the floor. He was impressive against one of the top teams in Big Shots Elite NC, posting 16 points and two 3-pointers, showing off his all-around game in a 68-67 victory in the final seconds. He finished the weekend with 18.7 ppg, 11 made free throws and seven made 3-pointers for Team Hope. He’s a new face to keep an eye on over at Lake Prep.
