2023 6-6 F Thomas Chipman Thomas Chipman 6'6" | PF Wesleyan | 2023 State GA – BCB – Wesleyan
A big strong forward, Thomas Chipman Thomas Chipman 6'6" | PF Wesleyan | 2023 State GA does not look like a sophomore. He’s completely filled out and has the strength to do some major damage. Chipman is a solid athlete that’s light on his feet. He can cover ground defensively and has the length to alter shots at the rim. He has a nice touch and easy release that extends out to the three-point line. Chipman showed the ability to put the ball on the floor and score in the mid-range off the dribble. He has nice tools to work with over the next three years. He looks like he will be capable of being a go-to guy in due time.
2023 6-1 W Eric Garcia Eric Garcia 6'3" | PF Union Grove | 2023 State GA – Atlanta Astros – Union Grove
Eric Garcia plays with a solid motor. His energy and activity help him play bigger than his listed size. He’s a willing rebounder and has long arms that help him protect the rim and contest shots. Garcia gets a lot of his offense in and around the paint. Adding to his perimeter repertoire will help him long term.
2023 6-2 G Mier Panoam Mier Panoam 6'2" | CG Norcross | 2023 State GA – Double Trouble Elite – Norcross
New from Alaska, Mier Panoam Mier Panoam 6'2" | CG Norcross | 2023 State GA just collected an offer from DePaul. He is an athletic guard that has smooth hangtime when working his way to the basket. He’s got good hands and quick leaping ability which makes him an impactful rebounder when he finds himself up close. The skilled slasher can be a foul magnet. He went 4-8 from the line and finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 3 blocks in the 15U championship. As his outside shot improves, Panoam will get better and better. With his arrival to Georgia, he should be regarded as one of the top guards the state has to offer.
2023 6-7 F Chad Moodie – Double Trouble Elite – Grayson
Long, active and agile, Chad Moodie had another strong game finishing with 15 points, 9 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block. He gets off his feet in a hurry and can compete at a high level on the glass. He’s got some smoothness about his game showing flashes of his combo-forward skillset. Moodie is able to put the ball on the floor and spin his way to baskets inside. He can keep the defense honest from the mid-range and has potential in due time to stretch his range to the three-point line. With more reps at a high level, Moodie can quickly become an impact player. It may be tough for him to crack Grayson’s front court rotation this year, but if he can it will only benefit him down the line.
2023 6-2 PG Mansir Williamson Mansir Williamson 6'2" | PG Centennial | 2023 GA – Double Trouble Elite – Centennial
Back from injury, Mansir Williamson Mansir Williamson 6'2" | PG Centennial | 2023 GA made a major first impression in DT Elite’s 88-85 championship. Williamson did a little bit of everything, piling on 20 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. The lefty plays with poise and doesn’t get rattled. He’s able to play at his own pace and find his spots. Williamson has a good-looking shot and is tough to contain once he gets in the paint. He finishes equally well with either hand, able to push up floaters with both. Mansir’s mature feel for the game plus Logan Turner Logan Turner 6'5" | SG Centennial | 2021 State GA , Kyle Duncan Kyle Duncan 6'4" | CG Centennial | 2021 State GA and Wade Kahl Wade Kahl 6'7" | PF Centennial | 2022 State GA , gives me reason to believe Centennial has more than enough firepower to clinch a state playoff berth after finishing just 12-14 a year ago.
2023 6-4 SG Cedric Taylor Cedric Taylor 6'6" | SF Drew Charter | 2023 State GA – Double Trouble Elite – Drew Charter
A big guard, Cedric Taylor Cedric Taylor 6'6" | SF Drew Charter | 2023 State GA can play 1-3 on the perimeter. He tallied 10 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. He’s a streaky three-point shooter that can get hot once he sees a few go in. On Sunday however, his shot wasn’t falling so he began to attack the rim. He has the length to finish in traffic and rise over defenders. Taylor showed off a pull-up jumper that helped keep defenses off him. He’s got a chance to be a really good player in Class A-Public and get Drew Charter over the hump.
2023 5-11 PG Rodrigo Farias Rodrigo Farias 6'2" | CG TSF Prep | 2024 GA – Double Trouble Elite – WD Mohammed
Rodrigo Farias Rodrigo Farias 6'2" | CG TSF Prep | 2024 GA is a dynamic scorer with an elite shot. He was money in the championship game, drilling five threes en route to 21 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist. He plays with major confidence and isn’t afraid to pull-up from anywhere. Farias is light, but his apparent lack of strength doesn’t hinder him from shaking defenders in iso situations to get a clean look. He averaged over 10 points per game at WD Mohammed as a freshman and could form one of Class A-Private’s most potent scoring backcourts with fellow 2023 guard Bilal Abdur-Rahman, who averaged over 22 points and 8 assists.
