Tavari Johnson Tavari Johnson 6'0" | PG Lyons Township | 2022 State #171 Nation IL (Lyons)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #13
Johnson is a prospect we had heard buzz about from several of our Chicago insiders, but until we saw him we couldn’t rank him. He showed out in the final event of the summer in Minnesota running with Young & Reckless. The lead guard was a savant in ball screen situations making the proper reads over and over again. Showed athleticism with acrobatic layups in the paint. The next day it was his jump shot that shined knocking them in from all over the floor. High IQ guard with leadership!
Mikey Brown (Bloom)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #88
The 5’10” point guard is a stocky built guard that can really shoot it from mid-range. Excellent pull up game. His compact strength allows him to take a bump at the cup. He had a strong summer for The Work Foundation and should see a big role for Bloom this year.
Jaydin Dunlap Jaydin Dunlap 6'1" | PG Bolingbrook | 2022 State IL (Bolingbrook)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #89
Dunlap is a 6’1” point guard from Bolingbrook that is jet quick with the rock in his hands. Was best turning defense to offense in the open floor with his speed. Brought consistent play to the table for the Champaign Heat.
Jeremiah Babers Jeremiah Babers 6'1" | PG Galesburg | 2022 State IL (Galesburg)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #90
This Galesburg junior really emerged this summer for the Archangels . Point guard that does a little bit of everything for his squad. This 6’1” point guard has good length and is aggressive as a defender. Offensively he pushes the rock and gets others involved with his passing. Can score himself with a solid jump shot.
