Julius Rollins Julius Rollins 6'7" | SF Hillcrest | 2021 State IL (Hillcrest)
Previous Ranking: #19
Current Ranking: #13
We saw Rollins this summer with both Team MORE and Young & Reckless. What he brings to the table as a prospect is versatility on both ends of the floor. He can play as a small ball four or take bigger defenders out on the perimeter. Best as a slasher and using his athleticism scoring in the paint. Defensively he checks multiple positions across the board.
Jakobi Heady Jakobi Heady 6'8" | SF Hillcrest | 2021 State IL (Hillcrest)
Previous Ranking: #20
Current Ranking: #14
Like Rollins, Heady was a standout for two different teams this past summer in God’s Gift and Young & Reckless. Long and lanky small forward can really let it fly from three although he has a bit of a slow release. Hit them at a pretty high rate this summer. Love the athleticism he brings offensively finishing above the rim with regularity slashing in both the half court and transition. Defensively he is a game changer with his long arms both vertically and horizontally.
Jaden Terrell Jaden Terrell 6'7" | SF Wheeling | 2021 State IL (Wheeling)
Previous Ranking: #71
Current Ranking: #44
Terrell has helium heading into his senior season. The long and lean lefty is a sniper from deep that drilled threes at a high rate this summer for Team RWA. We have always seen him as mostly a three and D guy, but he showed there is more in the tool box by putting it on the deck at a better rate than we had previously seen.
Tyler Van Eekeren Tyler Van Eekeren 6'5" | SF Benet | 2021 State IL (Benet)
Previous Ranking: #55
Current Ranking: #46
Steady progression over the last year for this Benet wing. Brings shooting from the perimeter and tough defense on the wing. With HIT we liked the progression he made as a driver. He did it more and more as the summer went on which keeps the defense honest. Also displayed quality passing from the small forward position.
Jadyn Benson Jadyn Benson 6'4" | SG Mt. Carmel | 2021 State IL (Mt. Carmel)
Previous Ranking: #143
Current Ranking: #55
Benson had a massive jump up the list. We have always been intrigued with the athleticism and upside here and he finally put it together this summer. Started out on the HIT Select team where he dominated and then got the call up for the last couple events to the top team. Long and lanky shooting guard with size that got whatever he wanted done over and over again. Hit jumpers from all over the floor creating his own shot and scored off the bounce as well with slithery drives. Flashed as a distributor and rebounder as well.
Matas Deksnys Matas Deksnys 6'8" | SF Lockport | 2021 State IL (Lockport)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #80
The 6’6” long and thin left handed small forward has a feathery shot from beyond the arc. Broke out at the Stealth Runs Next Wave drilling threes all night long. Quick and easy release shooting the ball. Also displayed some creativity off the bounce on several slick takes finishing with either hand. Defensively he has potential. Definitely needs to add strength, but has upside for sure!
Damarcies Moore Damarcies Moore 6'5" | SF Cics Longwood | 2021 State IL (Longwood)
Previous Ranking: #177
Current Ranking: #81
Moore is a long and rangy combo forward. I was very impressed with the way he shot it from deep for Team MORE. Smooth looking shot that came off his hands easy. Long and athletic frame. Quick bounce off the floor getting to the glass. Should bring some versatility on the defensive end as well.
