6’8 W Jake Wahlin Jake Wahlin 6'8" | SF Timpview | 2021 State #150 Nation UT (Timpview/Utah Prospects)
Jake is a player that often surprises most because of his elite guard play. Jake stands at 6’8 and can cover ground laterally at the defensive end. He is a defensive sounded player that can rotate and help and alter shots at the rim and in the perimeter. That defensive mentality jumpstarts his various skills at the offensive end. He gets in the passing lanes and gets steals and he defensive rebounds well and is able to push the ball and find people in transition or lead the break.
Jake has a long and quick first step with the ball in his hands or coming off of a cut. Jake is clever enough to know when to attack the rim or pull up with his elite floater package to keep that rotating defender off balance. Good catch and shoot player that will only get better from deep.
Jake is a young 12th grader that has a lot of growth physically and his ceiling is high. This summer Jake has really showed his skills playing against some of the best prospects in the country. Jake racked up some impressive offers from Arizona State and BYU as of late. Jake announced yesterday that he will be attending BYU over some major offers as he will join a team that has racked up some talented recruits.
Jake plays asa big in high school but is able to do so much more than hang out on the blocks.
6’8 SF Ethan Potter Ethan Potter 6'8" | SF Layton | 2021 State #194 Nation UT (Layton/Utah Prospects)
Ethan shocked a lot of people when he decided to commit to in-state school Utah Valley University to play under Coach Mark Madsen. Ethan turned down schools like San Diego State and Nebraska. Ethan has developed his game a lot in the past few years. He has expanded his game from the inside out. as last season we were able to see him hit those 15-footers with ease. This off-season Ethan has really stepped out and become a consistent threat outside. Ethan has learned how to float outside beyond the short-corner and really be a threat in that corner three area.
The reigning 6A MVP looks to improve on last seasons stellar year. UVU wil be getting a player that can go inside but also hurt you in the mid-range as well. Ethan is a focused rebounder that can haul them in on both ends of the court. On the blocks he has a good amount of moves that he can use on either block as he can finish at a high clip with either hand.
6’8 SF Dallin Grant Dallin Grant 6'8" | SF Cedar City | 2021 State #212 Nation UT (Cedar/Utah Prospects)
Dallin is a prospect that has a lot of potential. He has shown his skill from a young age as he has pulled in offers from some impressive schools. Dallin has some offers from Utah, Stanford, BYU and Southern Utah. This summer Dallin has worked a lot on his mid-post game as he is starting to see how effective his one handed push shot or hook can really be. Dallin can come down the floor and really hit that trail three-ball. At 6’8 Dallin is not a thin prospect anymore as he has put on some muscle.
Dallin really has a shot at making some noise this school year in 4A with his experience and skill.
6’8 SF Jaden Brownell Jaden Brownell 6'8" | SF Alta | 2021 State UT (Alta/Utah Premier)
Jaden was a bit underrated but has really worked hard to bee seen and noticed as his game has really developed. Jaden is another one of those players that can really score at will with a fully extended one hander near the rim. He will be an AND1 bucket on the blocks. Jaden really posses a problem for the defense as he can really get going from deep. Jaden can trail and hit the three or extend to the wings and hit them from there as well. Jaden has picked up some solid LM Division 1 offers. If he puts up a monster year he could start to get some MM attention as well.

With an elite jump-shot Duncan is difficult to defend because he sets himself up so well on pin-downs and he knows how to use his screens and run off of them. His footwork is also elite as he can get his feet under him and put up some high quality shots on the move. Duncan hit threes off the bounce from either side and anywhere on the floor. he can release a quick catch and shoot three as well. Duncan has a handful of division 1 offers. Don’t be surprised if Duncan breaks the state record for three’s either.
