Fall Elite Exposure Camp: Underclassmen (Forwards)
Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top underclassmen at the forward position from last Wednesday’s Fall Elite Exposure Camp in St. Charles, MO. The camp was presented by head coach Kyle Gerdeman and his staff at Lindenwood University.
Austin Vick Austin Vick 6'8" | PF Westminster | 2022 State MO 6’8″ Westminster: The big bodied 2022 post player who did an excellent job of sitting down and establishing his position in the post and sealing defenders. He has a very nice shooting touch around the basket where he used the backboard. He could also step out and hit 3-pointers off the pick and pop.
Nathan Bobikiewicz 6’5″ Wentzville Liberty: A skilled combo forward who had a very productive evening. He is a very solid scorer and rebounder around the basket, but he can also stretch the defense with his 3-point shooting. He also scored on some strong baseline drives to the basket.
Braden Goellner 6’4″ St. Charles West: A 2022 forward who played with a tremendous amount of energy, which resulted in him making several plays. He was very productive without never really commanding the basketball. He ran the court and scored in transition and crashed the boards with reckless abandon. He had an excellent tip dunk in transition. His motor was very impressive.
Logan Phillips 6’5″ Lafayette: An athletic 2022 forward who was bouncy and very athletic throughout the evening. He caught my eye during the drill sessions with his ability to finish around the basket with both hands. His shooting touch was very good and he was always running and moving.
Kory McCauley 6’4″ Francis Howell: A very active 2022 combo forward who displayed some physical moves in the low post to go along with some aggressive drives. He also knock down a few open perimeter shots. I liked the high motor that he played with throughout the camp. Lots of energy.
