Here are a few new names to players to introduce after their good showings at the camp:
Matt Keller 6’4 Lindbergh: An athletic 2021 forward who played with a lot of activity at both ends of the court. He has good length and he had some great takes to the basket, where he finished with authority. He even through down a couple of dunks which were impressive. He was also rebounding at a high level as well.
Jervon Ford 6’4 CBC: A long and thin 2023 wing who was one of the most impressive younger players at the camp. He checked the boxes as an offensive player with his ability to handle the ball, pass it and shoot it from 3-point range. His court vision was excellent and he had some very nice coast to coast drives off the break for buckets.
Jack Fessenden 6’2 Troy: A talented 2023 guard who is a very skilled ball handler and offensive player. He had a couple of very impressive spin moves in the lane that resulted in buckets. He had several smooth takes off the dribble to score in the lane to go along with his ability to shoot from the perimeter.
Tristan Brand 6’0 Parkway South: A solid 2021 point guard with good ball handling ability and court savvy. He was low on the dribble which helped him score in the lane against contact. He used ball fakes very well to set up his drives the basket. He was a good passer and reliable 3-point shooter when left open.
Adam Painter 6’4 Francis Howell Central: A long and slender 2022 wing player who did a good job of letting the game come to him while still making a positive impact. He made several mid-range jumpers off the catch as he moved well without the ball to get into the open areas. He also had a nice stride off the dribble and scored on some very effective euro-steps in transition.
