Point Guard – Tevin Gowins Tevin Gowins 5'9" | PG Hazelwood Central | 2022 State MO 5’10″ Hazelwood Central: A consummate pass-first point guard who knows how to play the position at both ends of the floor. He’s quick and strong and low on the dribble with the ability to penetrate and find open teammates as a pass first point guard. He can also knock down open perimeter shots and play strong on-ball defense.
Wing: Max Higginbotham 6’3″ Webb City (Pictured): A very skilled wing player who made the long drive from Webb City and showed himself quite well during the evening. He is a smooth ball handler with a high basketball IQ and a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range.
Wing: Matt Enright Matt Enright 5'10" | PG Webster Groves | 2022 State MO 6’0″ Webster Groves: The little lefty displayed his knock down shooting from 3-point range. His shooting extends well beyond the 3-point line. He is also a crafty ball handler who can get himself into the lane as well.
Forward: Austin Vick Austin Vick 6'8" | PF Westminster | 2022 State MO 6’8″ Westminster: A big bodied post player who did a nice job of sitting down and establishing position in the post and sealing the defenders. He had a very effective finishing touch around the basket where he used the backboard. He could also step out and knock down 3-pointers off the pick and pop.
Forward: Braden Goellner 6’4″ St. Charles West. A young forward who played with a tremendous amount of energy, which resulted in him making several plays. He was very productive without never really commanding the basketball. He ran the court and scored in transition and crashed the offensive boards with reckless abandon. He had an excellent tip dunk in transition. I was very impressed with his motor.
