Caden Mckenzie 2021 5’11 Shooting Guard Texas City High School
Photo: EXOS
Caden is an athletic combo guard who always raises his intensity to match his competition. He is the definition of a gamer, someone who always seems to find another gear when the moment gets big. He plays engaged and aggressive defense and comes up with multiple turnovers. His ability to finish around the rim allows him to be an effective player. He has a confident jumper off the bounce and as a set shooter, but he really makes defenders pay with a quick crossover to freeze them and then rise up in their face. I would like to see continued development in his mid-range game and floaters just to add another weapon to his offensive bag.
Myles Shields 2021 6’2 Shooting Guard North Dallas Adventist Academy (Richardson)
Myles is a crafty combo guard with a real ability to affect the game in several ways. He has great length and is an aggressive player around the rim. He loves to draw contact and seems to fight through it with ease. He even has a soft floater he can get to when attacking the rim head on. He plays very hard on the defensive end and had some impressive blocks and deflections leading to easy baskets for his team. I would like to see more work on his vision and ability to create for his teammates. He is a great player when he gets downhill but needs to work on his ability to dish off to his teammates when the help comes.
Jaylen Carthan 2021 Shooting Guard Dawson High School (Pearland/Houston)

Jaylen is a speedy all-around scorer who loves to get to his spots around the arc and in the mid range. He is the definition of a true three to four level scorer, with an ability to knock down shots from deep NBA range, behind the high school arc or even the mid range within the flow of an offensive set or while going one hundred miles an hour on the break. His shooting touch off the catch is deadly as well, allowing him to come off pin downs and get his feet set. I was impressed with his ability to finish in the lane over longer and stronger competition, but his strength with the basketball around the rim and soft touch with his dominant hand impressed me. I would like to see more development with his play making instincts and ability, because I know they are there with his positioning and ability to read the game as an off the ball guard.
Adrian Body II 2021 6’2 Shooting Guard Dekaney High School (Houston)
Photo: EXOS
Adrian is a larger shooting guard with a real ability to finish around the rim with either hand. He is an explosive athlete allowing him to hang in the air and finish tough shots as well as go up for crafty finishes. I was really impressed with his intensity and defensive awareness. He has great length allowing him to be a real game wrecking defender. He took some elite players out of their comfort zones and made them look average with his ability to get under their skin by staying in their shirt all day. He has active hands that came away with steals, deflections and blocks. He even displayed some good play making instincts, reminding me a lot of Marcus Smart. I would like to see continued development with his set shot and shot off the bounce because he already is an elite finisher and defender and has a real chance to be a successful “three and d” type player at the next level.
Randy Woolf Jr. 2022 Shooting Guard La Vega High School (Waco)
Photo: EXOS
Randy is a skilled guard who loves at getting to his spots in the mid range, behind the arc and from deep NBA range. He is an elite scorer from behind the arc and is deadly even with a fraction of space. He is a reliable scorer coming off of screens as well as shooting off the bounce. He has long arms that allow him to affect the game in many ways, coming up with blocks and steals in the passing lanes. He is a reliable finisher around the rim, showing expertise with a soft floater and other strong layups. I was impressed with his play making ability and ability to affect the game on the defensive end. He is such a skilled scorer who can fill it up at any time, but his ability to change the game on the other end of the floor makes him a reliable division 2/1 prospect.
Adolfo Martinex 2021 Shooting Guard Plainview High School
Adolfo is an intelligent set shooter who moves well without the basketball. He is great at flying off of pin downs and is great at getting his feet set quickly and his shoulders square. His shooting ability really stood out at this camp, but also displayed some confidence at getting to the rim. I would like to see continued development with an active dribble and work on his play making ability and confidence in creating for others and doing everything else besides shooting. He is a confident shooter even from deep NBA range but needs work on the defensive end to be able to hold up at the next level.
