Major New 2022 6’10 Lockhart High School
Major is a dominant force, standing at 6’10 he controlled the paint the entire event. He is a difficult player to score over and cleans the glass with ease. He has soft touch around the rim and is great at bullying his opponents with his size and long arms. He is intelligent at boxing out opponents and using his size to his advantage. He always seems to be in the right spot to clean up his teammate’s misses. I would like to see continued development with his off-hand, especially with a live dribble. If he can become a weapon that is able to put the ball on the floor, he has a real chance to succeed at the next level.
Rytis Peraltis 2021 6’6 Power Forward Oakridge High School (Arlington)

Rytis is a sniping sharpshooter with a great all-around game. He is about 6’6 already with long arms and an ability to shoot over just about any guard who tries to contest him. He is a strong finisher in the paint with both hands, even against stout competition down low. I was the most surprised with his fluidity to his ball handling and ability to beat people off the dribble. He is an intelligent player who seems to recognize when he has shifted a defender’s weight enough to shoot over them. He displayed some impressive one dribble side steps, step backs and step ins to keep the second defenders off balance as they came over to contest him. He has all the tools to be an effective offensive weapon at the next level, I would not be surprised to see him play Division one basketball. I would like to see continued development on the defensive end, because if he can become a lock down defender who can guard 1-4 and he can shoot the way he can? All I have to say is look out.
Charles Walker 2021 6’5 IL Texas Arlington High School
Charles is an intelligent forward who is great at using his size to get easy looks. He is an intelligent player with crafty and refined post moves. He is athletic enough to spin and turn off anyone and is smart enough to back his opponents underneath the basket if he has that big of a size advantage. He is a strong rebounder for being an undersized forward, and skies very high to clear the glass. His mobility and quick feet give him an advantage in the full court and make him an effective rim runner. I would like to see continued development at decision making out of the post and keeping his head up to make the right reads. He will draw double teams and attention and needs to understand spacing and using it to destroy his opponents’ defense.
