It also features several prospects that I have been anticipating laying eyes on. In this article PH takes a look at some of the most intriguing prospects participating in the event.
Daryian Matthews Daryian Matthews 6'5" | PF Dysart | 2021 State AZ 6’5 PF D1 New Mexico 2021 (#95PHA 2021) – They say you are what you repeatedly do. Matthews repeatedly tracks basketballs that clang off the rim. Can’t wait to watch the undersized post compete this weekend.
Isaiah Carr 6’11 C D1 New Mexico 2022 – I have waited for nearly 6 months to lay eyes on Carr. Everyone I have spoken with swears he is the real deal. I want to see it live and in person. In addition to the size and skill, Carr also rocks a 4.6 GPA.
Keavie Love Keavie Love 6'2" | CG El Camino | 2021 State CA-S 6’2 SG Gamepoint 2021 (#62 PHSC 2021) – Saw love at our expo last fall and he performed well. Good athlete, with a physical frame. Just want to see how his camp game translates to a team setting.
Devon Arlington Devon Arlington 6'3" | PG San Marcos | 2022 State CA-S 6’2 PG Gamepoint 2022 (#12PHSC 2022) (featured image) – Last time I saw Arlington in Arizona I got the impression that he didn’t have his fastball. You can see the talent, he just didn’t play his best. He gets a mulligan from me because of his overall body of work and simply because sometimes camp settings can be a lot tougher to catch a rhythm. Really interested in watching him play surrounded by the comfortably of his team.
Jordan Pope 6’1 PG Team Arsenal 2022 (#3PHNC 2022) – Really excited to see Pope again this weekend. He was good last week for TA, but I think he has another gear. Looking forward to seeing what the #1 ranked PG in Nor Cal c/o 2022 has in his bag this weekend.
Jackson Grant 6’10 PF Washington Supreme 2021 (#3PHW 2021) – Got to see Nolan Hickman, and Paolo Banchero last weekend, now I get to see the 3rd ranked player in Washington. Just excited to watch another HM guy. The 6’10 Grant is a university of Washington Commit.
